When I say I haven't left bed for two hours, I mean I haven't. Bryant was nowhere to be found and I knew this was all my fault. I know I shouldn't have gotten mad at him for looking for a job. He's supposed to, right? I mean he is older and needs to support himself, because god knows I'm not. As a girl that lives off her friend instead of her own steady income... I guess I wouldn't be understanding it.

Did I need to get that upset and call him an asshole. I get it wasn't the best to say to your boyfriend but he has to know I'm kidding. Can hormones be a factor in this? I've been feeling hormonal a lot lately. Does that mean that time of month is coming? Most likely yes, but that's okay. 

I snapped out of my thoughts by my phone buzzing. I didn't recognize the number, but I still picked it up. "Hello?"

"Ellie? Is that you?" Her voice sounded so familiar.

"Aunt Tammy?" I smiled.

"Yes! Oh I missed your voice so much!" I could hear her smile through the phone.

"How are you? I've missed you so much!" I wanted to know everything that was happening in her life. I missed her so much and it was time to catch up!

"I'm great. Now I want you and your boyfriend to come over today. I really want you to surprise Noah!"

"My boyfriend is MIA as of two hours ago because of a fight, but as soon as I hear from him I'll tell him we're coming over!"

I heard her sigh and I just knew she was rubbing her temples because my mom did the exact same thing. "Ellie, make up with him. I could see the way he lit up when he talked about you. Y'all look perfect, love the home screen of his."

"What's with people and looking at his home screen?"

I heard her laugh, "Well you know how clumsy I am! I practically ran into him today! I dropped all my files and he dropped his phone. He quickly picked up all the papers and then looked at his phone then it turned on and I saw your beautiful face! So I asked about you."

"I'm glad you did. I'll go find him. Send me your address and we'll be over in the next two hours!"

"Love ya hun!"

"Love you too."

I felt like I had motivation to get out of bed. I got up and walked over to my suitcase where I picked up a black skirt and a maroon shirt. I quickly straightened my hair out and put on a little bit of makeup because I looked bad. I made my way towards the family room where I saw Ariel sitting with a boy, "Do you know where your brother is?"

"Yeah, he's in the back. Just go out the kitchen way and he should be on the chair swing."

I smiled at them and walked to their patio. It was gorgeous, there was a hot tub and a pool. There was a big circular table in the middle with lots of chairs around it, I saw the swing and just as promised there was Bryant on his phone. "Hey."

He looked up at me and smiled. He patted the seat next to him and I took it gladly.

"I'm sorry for getting mad at you and calling you an asshole. I just don't like surprises like that, I like knowing things and not being left behind."

He put his hand up to my face and smiled at me again, "Trust me, it's fine. I really should've told you. I'll do it next time."

"Thank you." We just sat there for a couple of minutes taking in all the fresh air. "Well, we need to go see my Aunt."

"Aye, we're going right now?" He looked confused.

"She only lives 10 minutes away. I'm not letting her get away again."
