Run.

Rey's senses screamed at her, and as she and Finn painstakingly watched the last seconds of the hologram's download bar, she grabbed his arm.

"We have to go," she whispered, her eyes scanning the empty control room. The metal walls of the Star Destroyer seemed to cave in toward her, the buzzing lights overhead threatening their dominion. Though the alarms hadn't yet been triggered by the enemy, she couldn't help but think that they had already been caught.

"It's almost done," Poe pointed out from behind, watching the doors unperturbed. "Trust me. No one knows we're here. We might as well kick back for a few minutes, have a drink or two."

"It's not safe," Rey spat in return, her eyes still looking for the unseen menace. She usually didn't mind Poe's carefree spirit, his lack of decorum when planning missions, but when it came to the jeopardy of their lives, she wished he'd take more precaution. "Just keep watching the hallway."

Poe leaned against the wall with a snort. "The bastards are all asleep, I tell you. No one's waking up for at least another hour or two. This drug stuff really works."

Finn chuckled next to Rey. "Poe would know."

The plan was good, Rey had to admit. Fill the vents in the ship with a sleeping draught... who would have thought Poe's knowledge of spices would actually come in handy? Rebel spies were everywhere in the galaxy, even on the First Order's Star Destroyer. Finding a trustworthy one wasn't the difficult part, but getting the drug through security proved difficult enough. Thankfully, they had managed to sneak a few barrels through with some of the medical supplies shipped for the First Order. The spy, careful not to draw attention, removed the barrels and opened them at ship's ventilation system. Within a few minutes, all operatives, both working and already in beds, dropped like flies.

"Why not just poison them, instead?" Finn had reasonably asked during the meeting with Poe, Leia, and Rey. "Why use a sleeping inducer?"

Poe rolled his eyes. "The First Order would be looking for poison," he said as if it were the most obvious answer. "No one would be concerned about a few barrels of sleeping draught. It's the same stuff used in medical facilities aboard the ship."

And, the plan had worked. For once, the resistance was able to sneak past the lines of the enemy to gather information. It was supposed to be a quick in and out, but for Rey, it seemed that the time had already been lost.

"Done," Finn announced, pulling Rey from her thoughts. He removed the chip from the computer system and smiled down at his friend proudly. "We have it. Everything. The ship's database, their plans for attack, everything."

"Then let's go," Rey said nervously, still holding his arm. Finn nodded, and began toward the door. Poe followed behind, his boots scraping the metal grated floor blasély.

As they hurried down the hallway, avoiding the bodies of the limp Stormtroopers once on patrol, Rey couldn't help the sinking feeling in her gut. The closer they got to the ship at the loading dock, their escape, the more she felt uneasy. Even Finn's hand against her back, leading her comfortingly, seemed off-placed. Suddenly unable to stop herself, Rey froze in her tracks.

Poe and Finn turned, confused.

"What are you doing?" Finn questioned quietly, cautiously. "Do you see something?"

Rey struggled to find her words, her breath caught in her throat. "A... a feeling."

Poe scoffed, pointing to the loading dock and their ship at the end of the hallway. "Now's not the time to explore or admit your deep, emotional feelings, princess. We got what we came for, now let's g--"
