Todoroki's POV

Todoroki woke up in an unfamiliar room, and an unfamiliar bed. He sat up, wiping the sleep out of his eyes, and looked around.

The room was very clean. There was a clock on the headboard. The time was 9:42. Luckily, it was Saturday, so he wasn't late for school, but it was still late compared to when Todoroki normally got up.

Todoroki was about to get out of bed, but he before he did, he noticed a head of spikey blond hair resting beside him. It was Bakugo, sitting down beside the bed and resting his head on it while asleep.

Todoroki suddenly remembered the events from the night before. He hadn't really ever forgotten, but it somehow didn't feel real. He almost jumped off a building, and of all people, Bakugo had stopped him.

Suicide was something Todoroki had thought of a lot before, but the thought of never seeing his mom again, and leaving his siblings with his father always stopped him. He didn't quite understand why that time was any different. Usually, he was able to remind himself that Bakugo talked that way with everyone, and that he didn't mean it.

Todoroki was snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed Bakugo shifting. His head lifted off the bed. As soon as Bakugo's eyes landed on his, he felt like crying. Bakugo knew he was suicidal, a secret that he didn't want anyone to find out. The idea that if Bakugo told the right person, he could be sent to a psyche ward, scared him.

Bakugo opened his mouth to speak, but didn't say anything, perhaps deciding how to put what he wanted to say into words.

The two sat in silence for another few minutes. Todoroki didn't know what to say, and he assumed Bakugo didn't either. The silence was uncomfortable, but at the same time, Todoroki didn't want it to end out of fear of what Bakugo would say.

"Hey, Hal-Todoroki, I'm sorry for driving you to that point." Bakugo said, so quietly it could almost be considered a whisper.

Todoroki didn't say anything at first. Although Bakugo is the reason he was on the roof that day, he wasn't the reason he became suicidal. He didn't want Bakugo to feel like it was his fault, but in a way, it was. Todoroki wasn't sure how to tell Bakugo that in a way that won't make him feel guilty.

"It...it wasn't really your fault. I mean, I was up there because of what you said, but you aren't the reason I'm suicidal." Todoroki said, matching Bakugo's quiet volume.

"Then why are you suicidal?" Bakugo asked. The question surprised Todoroki. He was hoping Bakugo would stop talking after Todoroki respond to him.

"I don't really want to talk about it." Todoroki said to end the conversation as soon as possible.

Bakugo didn't look satisfied with that answer. He sat up on the bed next to Todoroki, and leaned in a little bit.

"Is your father the reason you feel this way?" He asked, keeping his quiet volume.

Todoroki had completely forgotten that the blonde had heard the conversation he had with Midoriya. Gaining the courage to tell Midoriya about his childhood was hard enough. He hated that Bakugo had found out.

Even though he didn't want Bakugo to find out about his family issues to begin with, something about the way he spoke to Todoroki now told him he could be trusted.

Todoroki took a deep breath before he forced himself to speak, "Yes." It was only one word, but for some reason, it was unbelievably hard to say.

Bakugo's POV

"Yes." Todoroki said, quickly and quietly. It was obviously hard for him to say out loud.

Bakugo looked down at his hands, trying to contain his rage. He knew Endeavor treated his family like shit, but he didn't realize it was bad enough to drive Todoroki to suicide. Bakugo had a very sudden urge to punch the flaming pile of crap in the face.

Then, Todoroki mumbled something so quietly that Bakugo almost hadn't realized he said anything.

"What?" Bakugo asked.

"Please don't tell anyone." Todoroki repeated, this time loud enough for Bakugo to hear.

Bakugo felt a little hurt that Todoroki felt the need to tell him not to say anything, but it did make sense. After all, Bakugo was never really nice to him.

"Of course I won't." He said.

Todoroki didn't say anything in return, but Bakugo had a feeling he was relieved to hear that.

Todoroki's stomach growled loudly, reminding the boys that they hadn't eaten anything since yesterday's lunch. The thought of food make Bakugo's mouth water, making him realize he was hungry as well. Shitty school food wasn't going to cut it, though. After yesterday, Todoroki deserved to eat something decent.

"Wanna go out to eat?" Bakugo asked, before realizing how desperate he must've sounded.

The two could hardly be considered friends, and now, all of a sudden, Bakugo was asking Todoroki if he wanted to go out somewhere to eat with him? He wouldn't be surprised if he declined.

"That sounds nice." Todoroki answered, surprising Bakugo that he actually accepted.

Bakugo nodded. He was glad Todoroki was giving him an opportunity to make things up to him.

Sorry if the ending was a little rushed. I wasn't sure what I should've done for it so there you go, I guess.
