Chapter Ten

Bakugo's POV

Bakugo couldn't sleep. His mind wouldn't calm down enough for him to be able to. It kept asking the same questions over and over again.

Who does Todoroki like?

Does he even like anyone, or does he know he's gay from past experiences?

Does he like fucking Deku, cause if he does, I'm throwing myself out of a window.

Bakugo knew why he was so bothered by Todoroki liking someone, but he didn't want to admit it. He didn't want to believe he had feelings for his depressed friend, but he knew he did.

His jealousy just made things worse. The blonde kept thinking about the possibility of Todoroki liking the cry baby Deku. It pissed him off to no end, but he couldn't stop thinking about it.

Bakugo gave up trying to get any sleep. He knew it wasn't gonna happen. This restlessness was going to take a toll on his performance in class, though. He needed to get answers to his questions to make them go away, and there was only one way to do that.

Bakugo marched to Todoroki's room with his goal in mind. He needed answers, and he needed them now.

He banged on Todoroki's door. To the blonde's surprise, the two-tone opened it almost immediately. He didn't seem the slightest bit surprised that Bakugo was on the other side of his door.

"I have some questions, mind if I come in?" Bakugo asked.

Todoroki nodded, wiping the sleep out of his eyes as he did, then sat on his bed. Bakugo closed the door behind himself before sitting next to Todoroki.

Bakugo examined his friend. He had an extremely bad case of bed Head. His hair was sticking up in interesting directions. His red and white locks were crossing each other's territory. Todoroki's eyes were only half open, as if he were fighting to stay awake. In Bakugo's opinion, he looked very cute like this.

Stop staring at him and do what you came here to do already! Bakugo commanded himself.

He thought about how he'd ask Todoroki his questions for a moment, but then he remembered that being blunt about it always got him answers the fastest.

"Do you actually like someone at our school, or did you find out you were gay from past experiences?"

Todoroki didn't respond, but he did blush.

Todoroki's POV

Oh God, he knows. Todoroki thought as he was filled with panic.

Bakugo definitely knew he liked him, otherwise, why would he ask? Todoroki wasn't ready for this. He didn't want Bakugo to find out, maybe not ever.

Todoroki didn't know how to respond, but judging by the way Bakugo thought this was something he had to come to his room to talk about, Bakugo probably didn't like that Todoroki liked him.

"I'm sorry." Todoroki apologized.

Bakugo looked confused, and Todoroki knew he messed up. If Bakugo was confused, he probably didn't think Todoroki liked him. In other words, Todoroki just fucked up.

"You're sorry? Why would you be-" A look of realization washed over Bakugo's face as he must've realized why Todoroki apologized. "You like...me?"

"I'm sorry." Todoroki said quietly.

Bakugo pulled him into a hug, but it felt unusually aggressive. "Stop apologizing for this kind of shit. You've done nothing wrong, and you can't control those feelings anyways." The blonde said.

"Maybe I can't control how I feel, but I shouldn't jump to conclusions like I did." Todoroki quietly said in return.

"I already told you; quit apologizing."

Todoroki didn't say anything else. He melted into Bakugo's embrace instead, feeling better now that he knew Bakugo didn't hate him.

Bakugo sighed. "You unwillingly confessed your feelings for me, so I guess it's only fair if I confess as well. Todoroki......I like you." Bakugo said the last part very quietly.

Todoroki looked up at Bakugo's blushing face, searching for any indications that he's lying out of pity. When Todoroki found none, he blushed. Then, he took his reserved spot in Bakugo's arms.

"So, what does this mean for our relationship?" Todoroki asked shyly.

"I guess, we could start dating." Bakugo suggested.

"Yeah, I like that idea." Todoroki said, his volume remaining low.

The boys smiled, and Bakugo leaned in for  a kiss, to which Todoroki happily complied.
