Todoroki's POV

Throughout the next few days, Todoroki had sort of been avoiding Bakugo. It wasn't as if he went out of his way to not be around him, but if there was an alternative to being near him, he chose that alternative.

Todoroki did this because he didn't want Bakugo to find out he liked him. It was bad enough that he was gay, but if Bakugo found out he was gay and liked him, the blonde would surely hate Todoroki. The two-tone had a feeling he'd screw up and accidentally let the secret slip if he spent too much time around Bakugo, and he didn't want their relationship to end, so he avoided him whenever he could instead.

Not having Bakugo with him when he's feeling sad took a toll on Todoroki's mental health. He cut every day, several times a day ever since he stopped spending as much time with Bakugo. Although he hated it, Todoroki kept reminding himself that it's better than having Bakugo hate him for being a faggot.

As well as cutting, Todoroki constantly had constantly had nightmares about how things would play out if Bakugo found out. Each one seemed worse than the last.

Todoroki just hoped Bakugo didn't notice his behavior, because the last thing he wanted was for Bakugo to confront him and force the truth out of him.

Bakugo's POV

Bakugo had noticed that Todoroki had been acting strange lately. He spent a lot less time with him than normal, and declined every invatation to do something with each other that Bakugo gave Todoroki.

Bakugo couldn't help but think he had done something wrong. Why else would Todoroki be avoiding him? He had decided that he was going to confront Todoroki about it as early as he could. Lucky for him, it was Sunday, so he could go to his room pretty damn early.

Bakugo was currently making his way to his friend's room, his mind swarming with the possibilities of what he had done wrong.

When he got to Todoroki's Japanese style door, he hesitated to knock. Todoroki might be angry and not want to talk to him. If that was the case, Bakugo's presence would piss him off.

Stop being such a pussy and knock on the damn door already!  Bakugo told himself.

He banged on Todoroki's door with a little too much enthusiasm. When Todoroki opened it, he looked shocked to see Bakugo. The blonde swore he saw a hint of fear in his friend's eyes.

"Can I come in?" Bakugo asked with all the courage he could force himself to have.

"I....Yes, you can come in." Todoroki said, moving out of the way for Bakugo to enter.

Bakugo closed the door behind himself and leaned against the wall. Todoroki sat on his bed, still facing Bakugo.

"What do you need?" Todoroki quietly asked.

Bakugo thought for a moment about how to say what he wanted to. Finally, he decided on saying, "I just noticed that you've been acting strange lately. I was wondering if I did something to piss you off?"

"No! It wasn't anything you did, I-I just..." Todoroki began, but stopped talking midsentence.

"You just what? What the hell is going on with you?"

"Bakugo, I think you should leave." Todoroki said. That single sentence seemed to piss Bakugo off a lot.

Bakugo stormed over to Todoroki. He stood up in front of him with an angry expression.

"You want me to leave? I came here to figure out what the fuck is up with you, and I'm not leaving until you tell me what the hell is going on!" Bakugo yelled.

Todoroki looked like he was on the verge of tears. Knowing that he was probably the cause of that hurt Bakugo, but what hurt Bakugo more was what Todoroki said next.

"I'm a faggot." Todoroki said, tears falling from his eyes.

Bakugo was shocked and deeply disturbed at the same time. Todoroki was avoiding him because he thought being would hate him for being gay? Whoever made him believe his sexuality was wrong was going to get their ass kicked.

Bakugo sat next to Todoroki and hugged him tightly within a single second. Todoroki didn't do anything at first. But soon, he squeezed Bakugo as tight as he could while silently sobbing.

"Honestly, I'm a little hurt that you thought I would give a damn about something like that." Bakugo said so quietly, he wouldn't be surprised if Todoroki hadn't heard him.

"P-please don't t-tell anyone else. I don't want them to hate me." Todoroki said through his cries.

"The others wouldn't give a damn."

"Yes t-they would. Mineta sa-"

"MINETA SAID SOME HOMOPHOBIC SHIT TO YOU?" Bakugo screamed, realising his grasp on Todoroki so he could look at his face.

"Bakugo, don't yell. I don't want others to hear. Besides, it wasn't that big of a deal so p-please don't do anything." Todoroki begged.

Bakugo didn't know how to respond, so he didn't respond at all. Instead, he hugged Todoroki, making a silent promise to himself that he'd dropkick Mineta later.

Although Bakugo was mainly focused on Todoroki and the many ways he wanted to attack Mineta, there was a hint of jealousy at hearing about Todoroki's sexuality.

He knows he's gay, so that means he must like somebody, right? Bakugo had no clue why he didn't like the idea of Todoroki having a crush on somebody, but he decided to think about it later. At the moment, his full attention should be on Todoroki.
