Chapter Thirteen

Sorry I disappeared forever. I'm back now. Not like anybody's gonna read this anytime soon cause I decided to publish it on frigging Easter. It's ends on a cliff hanger as well.

Todoroki's POV

"We're going to do something similar to what we did at the beginning of the year. There will be a heroes and villains team. One half of the class will be the heroes, and the other half will be the villains. Your goal is to capture everyone on the opposite team. And I mean capture them. I'll choose team captain, and they will get the key to a small jail." Aizawa said as soon as the class settled down.

Todoroki didn't see a big problem with the assignment. Depending on who he was with, it would be rather easy. Todoroki did hope he would get teamed with Bakugo, though.

"The heroes team is Iida, Mina, Tsuyu, Yuga, Uraraka, Ojiro, Kaminari, Kirishima, Koda and Midoriya. The villain team is Momo, Soji, Jirou, Sero, Tokoyami, Todoroki, Bakugo, Mineta and Sato. The team captains are Momo and Iida, because I don't trust the rest of you at all." Aizawa tiredly continued, "Now, put your hero costumes in and wait for me outside.

Everyone did as they were told. Bakugo took the longest to put on his uniform. It was more complicated than the other ones. Todoroki waited for him so they could walk outside together. Bakugo stole a quick kiss on Todoroki's cheek while no one else was there.

Aizawa led the class to a sort of battle ground, to Todoroki's surprise. He was sure it wasn't there not too long ago. It must've been UA magic.

"Your bases will have the name of your team on it. Everyone, get to your bases within five minutes, then, put in the colored wrist bands that will be in a bucket. The game starts when you hear a bell ring. Now everyone, get going."

Everyone did as told. Bakugo seemed eager to start going. Todoroki had to speed walk to keep up.

Todoroki was worried that he wouldn't be able to find the base at first, but it actually stuck out a lot. The bases seemed to be much bigger than any other structure or building around.

The bell rung shortly after everyone put their wrist bands on. Almost as if they had planned it, everyone immediately went running out of the base, except Momo, who must've decided that it would be better for her to stay put in the base.

Todoroki didn't follow Bakugo. He didn't want to get in his way or annoy him while he was fighting. Instead, he decided to find Iida and capture him because he was the one with they key, and there was no rule against it.

Sneaking to the hero base, he decided to avoid others. His goal was Iida. He didn't want anyone to get in his way, because getting the team captain would gradually help his team.

As he walked, Todoroki observed his surroundings. There were lots of buildings, tall grass that looked oddly real even though that wasn't possible, and other varies artificial things that looked very realistic.

He arrived at the hero base. He used the very tall grass to hide himself as he looked around. Tsuyu and Midoriya were blocking the doors. Todoroki mentally slapped himself and his entire team in the face for not doing the same. He would just have to hope Momo was doing okay back at the base.

Todoroki felt a hand on his shoulder. He was afraid that it might've been somebody on the opposite team, until he spoke.

"Hey, it's just me. Don't worry." I heard Bakugo say.

Todoroki was relieved, and a little happy to have Bakugo by his side. All thought of not getting in his boyfriend's way had been thrown out the window.

"One of us could distract them and fight while the other get Iida." Todoroki suggested.

"I'm fighting." Bakugo stated.

"Of course you are." Todoroki smiles at his enthusiasm.

"Alright, let's go." Bakugo said. Bakugo didn't wait for Todoroki to answer before pecking his lips and moving into action.

Todoroki waited for an opportunity while watching his lover fight. He smiled as he watched Bakugo fight with so much passion.

Once Todoroki saw an opening, he rushed in. But, before he could even get inside the building, he heard Tsuyu yell.

"Bakugo, get out of the way!" Tsuyu yelled.

Todoroki whipped his head around. Time seemed to slow down as he saw heavy parts of the hero base crumble and fall onto his love.
