y/n's pov

i woke up in jaemins arms , and i heard my phone vibrate .

" i wonder who would text me this early" i though to myself

"jaemin , wake up sleepyhead" i said in a soft voice.

i heard a loud groan , and he said " go back to sleep y/n, it's too early"

"i need to see my phone dummy , get up"

he got up, but went back to sleep and let me grab my phone. it was a message from jeno .

i haven't seen him in forever and omg i have never replied so fast.

hi y/n! i've missed you :( i want to meet you today , please go alone :) meet me at the park close to jaemins house. i'll see you in 20 :)!

i looked at that with wide eyes , and hopped righ rn into the shower. i've missed jeno so much , i think i'll cry when i see him .

i took about 10 minutes to shower since he said 20 minutes, and well i needed to get ready.

i took out some sweat pants with a crop top, and put my hair into a messy ponytail. i curled my hair and put some light makeup on. this took about another 10 minutes and i told jaemin i was going to go see jeno. he replied " i'll go"

"no jaemin, he told me to go alone, i'll tell you when to pick me up." i quickly hugged him and kissed him

i quickly left the house , and went straight to the park.

i got there in about 3 minutes and i see jeno on the nearby bench. i decided to sneak up on him , and try to scare him.

i quickly went to his side and was about to scream when i felt someone's arms on my waist.

i see jenos arms hugging my waist. i went stiff and didn't know what to do. he looked down at me and said something i wish i never heard.

"y/n .... for so long you've been my bestfriend. i never paid attention to my feelings and always ignored them. my feelings have grown so much , and i don't know why i never told you. you've been there for me since i was small. you've been by my side everyday until i moved away. ever since i moved away , i couldn't get you off my mind , and that's when i figures that i might have feelings for you. as the years passed, my feelings only grew stronger , and i was in love with you. when i finally saw you again, i immediately knew i had so many feelings for you. i never admitted to them because it could break our friendship apart, and that's the least thing i want for us. y/n, i like you. "

i was frozen. i couldn't move, i couldn't speak. i couldn't do anything. i had feelings for jeno, but how do i tell him that i'm in love with jaemin. he's going to be heartbroken and our friendship is going to break apart. i look at him in shock , and the next thing he does shocks me.

he pulls me into a hug, and tells me

"y/n, i know you like jaemin. i saw it when i first saw you, by the way you looked at him, and how you got embarrassed when you do some thing in front of him, but if this does ruin our relationship, i'm sorry."

he kisses my cheek, and turns around to leave.i grabbed his wrist and bring him into a tight hug.

"jeno, don't you ever say that our friendship is ruined. you're my bestfriend , and that's how it's going to stay. i will never leave your side , and i'll always be here. don't ever forget that you're my bestfriend. please stay happy, and i know you'll fidn the right person.... one day" i smiled cheekily at him

he looked sad , but that quickly went away , and he pulled me into a hug.

"i'm sorry y/n, i love you" he said as he let go .

"i love you too jenoooo" i said while i ran towards him.

"anyways , i need to head over with jaemin, he might be worried , i'll see you around bitchhh" i said as i have him a kiss on the cheek.
