jaemins pov

i was ready to go pick up y/n from the park , when i see her give jeno a hug and a kiss.

" is she cheating on me.... with my bestfriend" i thought to myself. "that cant be. i hope not."

i felt tears streaming down my face, and finally noticed i'm actually in love with y/n. she's the love of my life , and i really don't plan on losing her anytime soon.

i left running to the house , and felt a sharp pain in my foot. when i was on my way to pick up y/n , i dropped over a vase and decided to pick it up after i got y/n. turns out , i stepped on it , and now i'm bleeding and can't walk. i was bleeding extremely bad , and i started feeling dizzy. i felt as if i could collapse at any moment. i felt my eyes go heavy , and the next thing i know is pitch black, and hear a loud scream.

y/n's pov

i was heading home to go see jaemin , and i was happily walking because i've missed him dearly. he's been the reason for me being extremely happy. i got home and opened the door to see a vase broken on the floor. i got worried because i knew jaemin would have cleaned it by now.

"jaemin , where are you" i didn't hear an answer , and that's when i got scared. i went up to his room to find him but he wasn't there. i went to check the kitchen and what i saw scared me. my soul left my body and i started breathing uncontrollably.

i see jaemin laying on the floor with a bloody foot , and him unconscious. i panicked and started crying. i couldnt react, but then i finally reacted. i got the phone and called 911.

"please come to xxxxxxx xx 123, seoul sk" i said with a panicked voice.

they said they would be here in about 5-10 minutes . i was skating uncontrollably, and i started crying. it hurt to see jaemin like this. the wound is deep and he's losing a lot of blood. i felt like everything was going against me again. i hear the door open and see the doctors pick jaemin up. i see jeno with a fearful look in his eye...

"y/n , what happened" he said worried

"i dont know jeno, but i'm scared" i said with a terrified tone.

" he'll be fine, let's go" he took me by arms and took me to the hospital.

once i got there , i rushed inside and went to his room. i couldn't get in since they were doing the surgery on his foot.

"mrs.na"they called

"yes doctor-nim " i said with a desperate but terrified tone.

"jaemins alright. he lost a lot of blood , but we were able to do the surgery well. please take good care of him" he said to me and jeno and i bursted into tears.

"you can go in , he's awake already miss" the doctor told us

jeno and i were gonna go in but i told jeno if i can go in alone. he agreed and patted my head

"jaemin, hey , i missed you." i said with a smile that didn't last even 2 second because i broke down.

" why jaemin, that hurt me , are you okay. i'm sorry . i thought i was gonna lose you. i cant see myself without you. please stay happy , and i'm sorrry for breaking down i can't help it" i said as i cried in front of him . he stroked my hair and finally spoke.

"y/n , i'm here, i'm still here , i told you i was going to stay with you , and i'm not going to break that promise. you're mine , please don't cry. you always seem so happy , stay like that baby" he said as he was trying to hold in his tears.

his voice calmed me down , and i was a bit shocked because that was the first time he has ever called me baby. i was the happier i've ever been. he's still here by my side, and this opened our eyes about how much we really care about each other.

no ones pov

little did they both know, someone was hearing everything and started crying uncontrollably. she's always been the one he loved , but he will never have her as his own. he will never be able to call her his. he will forever just be HER BESTFRIEND.
