Hey guys, I'm really sorry that I have not updated in so long. But I promise that I will update faster from now on.
I have gone back and re-read my chapters, and I have realized that I have a few grammar mistakes. And I would like you to know, that I am very sorry. I will sometimes accidentally write a section that does not flow very well, and I would just like to ask that you forgive me. :)
So based off of the couple chapters that I have posted, what do you think? What is your opinion on my story? Do you have any suggestions for something that I should add? Let me know, because I would really like to hear your criticism, good and bad! Alright, on with the story!
DISCLAIMER: I only own the characters, places, and plot line that I made up, the rest does not belong to me!

Gray's POV
I stared at the newly transformed land in awe. "Now I understand why it is called the Bright Forest..." Everything that was once dead, was now alive and perfectly healthy. All of this happened because of a stone. I couldn't believe my eyes. We sat there in silence for a good five minutes.
"I guess you deserve an explanation." The man up front said. "My name is Russ, and I am chief of The Village of Calm."
"How is this forest connected to the stone?" Erza demanded.
"The Serenity Stone is what controls our magic. It keeps us alive, it helps us." He said gruffly. I thought about that. "If that stone is really important to them, how did it get all the way to that old city? Wouldn't they keep it under heavy protection? Something doesn't seem right..."
"How did it manage to end up so far away from its home?" I asked him. He turned his attention to me, his face and voice grave, "... It was stolen."
We all looked at each other grimly. Natsu stepped forward and said, "It was stolen by a man named Raner. If I had known that he had stolen it, I would have brought him back to you." He glanced at Wendy, then continued to speak, "We just thought that he found it or something."
Russ looked down at the ground for a couple seconds, then up at Natsu, "I was hoping you would say a name I would recognize... Unfortunately, I have no recollection of a man named Raner."
"He said something about wanting to activate it, would you by any chance have an idea as to why?" Wendy squeaked.
He turned his attention to Wendy, and proceeded to say, "The stone has many magic abilities, so I could think of many reasons."
"If the stone is for keeping your village's magic balanced, why would someone else want it?" I asked him.
Russ's face turned a darker shade, "It has an important history behind it." I glanced back at the others who looked very serious. "Long ago, there was a city named Dyton. It was one of the largest and most powerful cities in the world. The only problem with the city, was that it was divided into four parts, a North, South, East, and West. Or the Villages of Disturbance, Madness, Calm, and Happiness. The villages Calm and Happiness got along, and Disturbance and Madness got along, but they hated each other. I guess it's because happiness and calm are the opposites of disturbance and madness. When they got near each other, they would bicker, but that was about it.
