"Woah, woah-" exclaimed Yamamoto, strutting over to us. He leaned his arm onto my shoulder, pretending sobbing in the process, "Do my eyes deceive me or did Kenma just full on grinned-"

"I know right, he's growing up~" Yaku said, wiping away a fake tear. Kenma was uninterested in what he just did and slowly shuffled away from them, both Mai and I were laughing at their weird acting.

"Guys!" Kai yelled from a distance, "Help us clean!"

"Yes sir!" We all responded. We placed our water bottles down and took off the support from the pole, disassembling the net.

Soon, with the help of Mai, we were able to finish packing up in under 10 minutes.

"You know you didn't have to help." I said, nudging her a little with my elbow.

"It's the least I could do for, kinda, crashing your practice," emphasising the 'kinda' with uncertainty. "From what I saw, you just let them do all the work for you, 'captain'-" highlighting that with finger quotes.

"Gah- you-" I interrupt, pull her under my arm and ruffle her hair, "God, you're such an idiot-"

"Were they always like this?" Yaku asked, in the distance, walking towards Kenma.

"Yep," He said, "they haven't changed."

I finally let her out of my grasp, her hair all over the place, resembling my messy, spiky hair.

"Jeez-" she punched my shoulder, quickly trying to flatten her hair. "I look like you now!"

"No kidding, that's because we're siblings," I said, rubbing my shoulder and sticking my tongue out. Since when did she punch this hard? I wave off her excuses and start walking away, "Come on, let's get going."

"Okay-"

After packing up our uniforms into our gym bags, we took a quick group photo with Mai. All the team introduced themselves personally to her too. We said our farewells and headed to the train station. As we waited, our train home soon approached. When we entered, Kenma sat closest to the door and Mai was in the middle. As we were on the train ride home she was admiring the photo and Kenma was playing a game on his console. Through the window, the concrete jungle of buildings were flashing past. We were strangely silent for once.

We got off at the next stop, making our way out of the train station and walking home. The sky was a golden orange, mixed in with the sky's baby blue. Whenever it was bound for a sunset, I always found it that the clouds were best part of it. It might not seem like it but if you remove the clouds, it's just one colour. Sure, it may look nice, seeing the colour gradient across the sky. But with clouds, it kinda add this new texture to it, y'know~ We were close to approaching our houses, as we turned the next corner.

"Today was a long day huh!" I said, breaking the awkward silence between us

"Yep," Mai replied, "Hm... Kenma, are you free on saturday?"

"Hmm, yeah I guess."

"Cool, why don't we go out together!" She exclaimed.

"What-" Both Kenma and I blurted out, misunderstanding what she said. I turn over to Kenma, who was hiding his lightly flushed cheeks, and back at Mai, looking slightly confused.

"What?" She pouted, "It's okay if you can't, I was just wondering if you're free to hang out."

"No, no," He said quickly, shaking his head, still looking down on the floor, "Let's go out."
