Third Person's POV
"KUROOOOOOO! LET'S GOOO UHH—" Bokuto whined as he shouted down from the couch.
"Bokuto-san, please calm down." Akaashi countered.
"WAAAAIT– I'M NOT DOOONEE!" Nii-chan shouted back at him from his room.
"How did I even get dragged into this... Kuro, if you're not ready, we're gonna leave you."
The four of them (Bokuto, Akaashi, Kenma and Mai), were in the Kuroo household. More specifically, the living room, waiting for Tetsurō. The three boys were sitting on the couch whilst Mai sat on the floor in front of Kenma, fiddling with the hem of his jumper with one hand whilst the other was on her phone. She looked at the time and sighed; she then stood up from the floor making the three, quite impatient, boys look at her.
"Come one, let's get up and wait outside, I'll deal with him. NII-CHAN!" She called out, as they ascended from their seats and started to leave out of the door. "WE'RE GOING NOW!"
'Hopefully that'll speed him up!' She thought gabbing her keys from the bowl and slipping on her shoes.
"WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! WAIT—" He rushed towards the door, hastily putting his black sling back around his body. As she was about to close the door, he placed his foot and pried it open, "You guys are so impatient."
"Looks like the princess is finally done." Mai mumbled as they walked out of the Kuroo's house.
"Pfft—" Both Kenma and Akaashi stifled a small laugh, whilst Bokuto—
"HAHAHAHA!!" He cackled out, until he was hit around the back of the head by my brother. "OW!"
"That's what you get!"
"Stop messing around guys." Kenma retorted, tucking his hands into his hoodie pockets.
As they walked out onto one of the main streets, Tetsurō and Bokuto led the way whilst the three of them tailed slightly behind. From the corner of Mai's eye, she saw Kenma slightly slowing down, she instinctively pouted and matched his pace. She curled her arm into his arm so the two were hooked together.
"This is gonna be a fun day." She said to him, staring the conversation.
"I dunno, Bokuto and Kuro are really loud." He contemplated, looking at the two and then back to the ground.
"Well, it's gonna be a fun day nonetheless! I have you with me~" She dazzled a smile as they could see Bokuto trip over the pavement a little, nearly bringing Tetsurō down with him. Mai looked over at Akaashi who was to her left side, seeing him sigh a bit, "Those two will be the death of you."
"Yep..." He shook his head as the two of them started to bicker a bit.
"Oh wait– Lemme answer this." Tetsurō halted, pulling his phone out from his back pocket. They huddled to the side of the pavement, being careful of any passersby. "Yeah... Oh okay... Uh-huh, yeah, bye."
"Who was that?" Bokuto asked.
"Oh, just someone in my class asking for the chemistry homework."
'I know how that feels; people in my classes would always ask me for the homework – sometimes I'll lie and say I haven't done it but most of the time I'd give it to them.' Mai thought as they proceeded started to walk again.
They continued to walk along the street as we went passed the 8-11 shop the volleyball club always goes to, to buy food after practice. They went up some stairs, walking along the pedestrianised bridge, admiring the somewhat early morning. The sky's pale blue had stretched across with no ounce of clouds in sight. The sun was perched above, not directly, but was shining it's face towards theirs.
