Mai's POV

It's still a part of me huh... The after shock of that dig stung my forearm a little, the familiar sense of the ball grazing my arm. That feeling of quickness of getting the ball up from the ground. It's just pure instinct, I guess.

"I think we should end it here," Tetsurō said, looking at the clock. "It's almost 12. We should rest for a bit."

"Okay," The chorus of voices echoes around, they sounded quite sulky but then they all shot their eyes towards me. Oh gosh, they're coming for me–

"Hey everyone," I said, slowly making my way towards my brother's teammates, unfazed by the team across.

"Welcome Mai-san!" They replied with bright smiles. They proceeded to continue preparing for their next few sets.

"Oi, Yakkun!" I heard Nii-chan call as I was already walking over to him.

"Yeah what's up?" Yaku said

"You should be careful," both Yaku and I tilt our heads in confusion, "Otherwise she might steal your job." Tetsurō teases, nudging Yaku's arm a bit, grinning.

"Hey!!" He responded, looking back at my brother, growling at him. I giggled a little at his expression and pat his back, Tetsurō also chuckled at their banter.

"I'm joking, I'm joking!"

"It's okay Yakkun," I said, "Ignore my dumb brother, anyways, you're way better at volleyball than I am."

"Well your dumb brother is waiting to be greeted by his, also, dumb sister–" Nii-chan interrupted, I turn to him and give him a little smile at his whining attitude.

"What do you mean? How could I forget my own blood." I said. He opened his arms for a hug, which I politely accepted and hugged him tight, though he was quite sweaty. He lifted me and spun me around a little, placing me down onto the floor. I quickly break the hug and caught a glimpse of the little pudding head and a boy with noticeable ginger hair.

"So how did you even know where to go?" He asked, placing his hand on his hip

"I followed the sound of an irresponsible brother and volleyballs hitting the floor." I exaggerate, turning my back to him, slowly walking away. "You're lucky I took the initiative and found my way here."

"H-Hey!" He said, flustered. Hah... He knows I'm right. "Come back here!"

I speed my pace up making my way to Kenma and a boy with fluffy ginger hair. "CAN'T HEAR YOU!" I called, not turning around, "Hey Kenma. Oh, is this the boy you were telling me about yesterday."

"Yeah, this is Hinata," He said, calmly, though his friends actions say otherwise. I look over at him and gave him a bright smile. "It's nice to meet you, Hinata..." I said sweetly.

"Hinata Shoyo!" His face turned a bright shade of red as he bowed. I widen my eyes a little at his sudden actions. Is this how they felt when I introduced myself to Nekoma? "It's nice to meet you too!"

"Ah you really don't need to bow, Hinata-kun" I said, waving my hands frantically, I look over to see Kenma slightly smiling at the two of us, "I'm Kuroo Mai."

"Kuroo?" Hinata slightly tilting his head like a puppy. As he tried connected the dots his expression quickly brightened and his eyes took a similar effect, boy that was kinda cute, "Wait– You're Kuroo's sister! I should've noticed sooner, you two look quite similar."

"Yeah, apart from the fact he has outrageously spiky hair–" As I said that, Kenma burst into a small laughter, which I followed with a giggle.

"Hey Hinata!" Someone shouted from the other side, he had short brown hair and quite sharp features. It's no mistaken that he was the captain, "Let's get going! You too Tanaka and Nishinoya!"
