Peter Parker // Whump

Peters eyes blinked open slowly as he tried to adjust to the blinding light.

"Hey pete, so we need to talk" Steve said from a chair next to Peters bed.

"I-ok" Peter sighed.

"Look I'm going to start off with the obvious and then ask you something. You are not alone pete, you have so many people with you. We all love you pete"

"I- I love all of you too but I didn't think you wanted me"

"Of course we want you peter, now a question" Steve sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. "What would you say if someone told you their dead grandfather came back to life?"

"Well I would ask if they were ok, and try to get them help because it's not possible... why"

"What would you say if I told you that Tony was still alive?"

"I know this isn't real, BECK JUST LEAVE ME ALONE" Peter started shaking violently and crying. Steve left the room quick to find Bruce.

"BRUCE, hey sorry to yell but I think he has trust problems because of the whole thing with Quentin Beck."

"Shit, you're right. But we've gone too far now" Bruce stepped aside and Steve could see Tony. He smiled.

"It's good to see you again tin can"

"Good to see you too capsicle" Tony walked over and hugged Steve. "What were you saying?"

"Do you remember watching what happened on Peters trip last year?" Bruce asked Tony.

"How could I forget it hurt to watch the kid breakdown like that without being able to help him"

"I know tones, I think he has trust issues. He doesn't believe anything's real."

"Maybe if he sees me for real it will get better?"

"I mean I guess we could at least try" Bruce led the way to Peters room and stopped at the door, "good luck, and be gentle don't rush things"

"Yeah" Tony took a deep breath and turned the door knob. Peter was staring out the window, he hadn't seen Tony yet.

"Steve I've been thinking, maybe he could be alive I mean it was his arm that got hurt and his heart stopped beating I heard it Steve it was horrible I still have nightmares. But that's besides the point, if they can regenerate skin that and the technology at Wakanda, they could bring him back? I just don't know why he wouldn't want to see me"

"Kid" Tony's voice was barely audible but peter could hear. He froze and started shaking, Tony walked over and sat on the bed next to Peter. "Kiddo it's me I'm here, you were right. I wanted to see you sooner but they wouldn't let me. They told me it would do you more harm"

Peter slowly turned to face Tony, tears were falling down his face and he was shaking. He reached his hand out and touched the arc reactor. "Y-you're real. This is real?"

"Yeah, h-hey" Tony smiled, Peter flung himself into Tony's arms. "I'm back you're never going to be alone again"
