OCTOBER CAME FASTER THAN ARTEMIS REALIZED WITH THE ARRIVAL OF DURMSTANG AND BEAUXBATONS ACADEMY. The students of Hogwarts had gathered in the Great Hall to greet the other schools. Everyone was excited for the games to start, except for Artemis. She was still very angry that Quidditch was cancelled. However, with the tournament, maybe her and her friends could finally have a break from danger.
"So Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event," reminded Dumbledore,"The Tri-Wizard tournament. Now for those of you who do not know, the tri-wizard tournament brings together three schools for a series of magical contests. From each school a single contestant is selected to compete. Now let me be clear, if choosen you stand alone. And trust me when I say these contests are not for the fainthearted, but more of that later. For now please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of the Beauxbatons Academy of magic and their headmistress Madam Maxime."

A group of girls dressed in blue danced up the aisle and released butterflies into the air. Every boy, and some girls, were completely enchanted. Ron murmured something ridiculous as he drooled over the ladies. Artemis couldn't blame the lads, it was all quite magical. They bow and everyone applauded. With them, a very large in height woman followed.
"Blimey, that's one big woman,"Artemis murmured, earning a snicker from the Weasley twins.
"And now our friends from the north, please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and the high master Igor Karkaroff,"Dumbledore introduced.
