ARTEMIS DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE. Two days had past and she was overdue to return to her friends. Luckily, she was recovering quite quickly and her parents had given her a fair of amount of medicines.
Right now, she was enjoying her last morning of normalcy.
"Hey, Dad,"uttered Artemis with a little smile at the kitch island. She sat on. A stool with a small cup of tea in her hand. Remus looked tired, which didn't surprise Artemis at all as Teddy had been crying all night. It was as if he knew Artemis was leaving.
"Yes, little moon?"
"Will you braid my hair?"
Remus Lupin hadn't been asked that since the night before Artemis had been taken from him. He remembered how much she enjoyed, and how it was the one thing she could remember from her childhood when they met again. It was memory of her childhood that fueled her Patronus.
Remus Lupin chuckled, taking a step behind her and summoned a brush. Slowly, he brushed the tangles out of her newly washed hair.
"Are you sure you can't stay?"Remus asked.
"Yes,"Artemis answered,"I can't let Harry do this without me. My friends, they're smart and brave, but...they need someone to protect them."
"I get it,"Remus whispered,"We just worry about you..."
"I'll be okay,"Artemis told him,"Nothing can stop us from finishing this. We're gonna end the war...there is no way I'm letting Teddy grow up like this."

Artemis arrived back at Shell Cottage with George Weasley to send her off. She shedded her traveling cloak as they arrived and she shared a long kiss with the redhead. It was so needed, and it said more than they ever could. It was mix of I love you, I miss you, I'm proud of you, I worry about you, please don't go....
She had a lot emotions bubbling up in her chest, and George's gentle embrace on her broken and bruised body eased the overwhelming sense of panic. Artemis wanted to war to be over.
"Please be safe,"whispered George, rubbing his thumb against her scarred jaw. His gentle touch made her swoon and she was still as in love with him as she was when she was fourteen.
"Oh, don't worry, I'm just here to cause some trouble,"Artemis joked.
"You are the trouble,"George quipped back with a faint smile."I'll see you soon, little Art. When it's time to fight, I'll be by your side."
"I adore you...."
There was no doubt that things had changed since her fourth year, and she was no longer a love sick fifteen year old. Even though only a few years had past, Artemis was eighteen years old now and still madly in love with a troublesome ginger. They had grown up a lot in three years. War does that to people. Artemis felt like she had done the most growing in the past year. Yet, it never changed the fact that Artemis Lupin adored George Weasley and he knew it. He had always known it.
