ESTELLA BENNETT HAD A LOT OF REGRETS. There was so many things in her life she had missed or could have changed if she had stayed. Maybe, just maybe, James and Lily Potter would still be alive. If her life hadn't been in danger, she would have been their secret keeper and the Potter family would still be here. All the guilt Estella ever felt, the feelings that have consumed her since 1981 came from hiding.

James Potter has given everything to Estella. Without him, she would have never have become friends with the rest of marauders. She would have never fallen love with Remus, and had her children. She would have grown up extremely lonely.

Every hit to her shield made her flinch, but she held steady for as long as she could. Her eyes on the lifeless body of her true love.

Oh, Remus Lupin was her true love, she knew that. It had taken years for her to realize that she had started dreaming of Artemis once they had finally gotten together. He was the one, she knew that. It was always going to be him, and she would always choose him.

Tears filled her eyes, her hands starting to tremble slightly. She thought about Artemis and Teddy. She had been dreaming about them for years now. Estella knew that they'd been fine, but it didn't hurt any less. She knew Artemis was about to go to hell and back. She found comfort in the woman she had raised.

A beautiful, independent, loud, rowdy woman that could start a riot with ease. Her daughter had grown up to be a true marauder.

She knew their legacies were safe in the hands of Artemis Lupin and Harry Potter.

Her breath was knock from her with another curse to a shield. Then another, and another, and another. It was relentless, and she shook violently. Her knees had given out, hitting the pavement in front of Gryffindor Tower. Tears streamed down her face and she took a deep breath.

With all her might, she focused the magic and she knew exactly what she needed to do. She needed to use all of it. Every bit of magic that was inside of her had be embraced. All the things she had denied about herself was thriving inside her and it was time use to it.
