THE FULL MOON WAS RISING IN ARTEMIS LUPIN AS THEY ARRIVED AT THE MALFOY MANOR. Fenrir growled as they dragged the four hostages into the manor.
Artemis felt like her skin was crawling and she was itching to get out of it. The sun was setting like a threat upon Artemis' sanity. She needed to drink her potion, but Fenrir Greyback had her by the neck.
As her friends were lead to the main room, Fenrir Greyback was pulling the Lupin along the corridors of the house to a back door. He pushed her into the back garden of the manor.
"You're bold, little wolf,"Greyback spat,"But I've been around a long time, and if you think you can undermine me, you are wrong."
"Fuck you."
Greyback laughed with amusement,"Oh, Lupin, you are in for a night. You can already feel it, can't you? The moon is rising, and you're itching to kill. Tell me, have you ever done it naturally? No potion, because it is thrilling..."
"I'm gonna kill you."
"All bark and no bite,"He taunted,"I'm freeing you, Artemis Lupin. The world restrains us. We have nothing to be ashamed off. In the end, we'll inherit the world, and I'm gonna show you how."
Artemis shook her head, tears forming in her crystal blue eyes as she heard the lock click in all the doors.
"You can make me a wolf, but you can't make me a monster,"Artemis rebuked.
"We'll see about that..."
A scream erupted from Artemis' throat while her eyes trained upon the full moon, bright and luminous, in the dark sky. Her skin felt like it was ripping apart and she was shedding the mask she wore.
Artemis closed her eyes, letting the transformation take hold instead of fighting it.
"That's it, Artemis,"Fenrir urged,"Let the wolf take over!"
"No!"Artemis yelled,"The wolf and I...we're the same..."
Her wolf emerged in the light of the moon, strong and dominant as its faced its opposition.
Fenrir Greyback has transformed into a massive beast, dark as coal with a hard stare.
The white wolf bared its teeth to the large, black wolf. Artemis was aware in her mind, even if it was slightly. She was truly one with her wolf. She wasn't sure what exactly made her this way, but she thought it may have to do with her magic and her destiny.
Lunar pounced, sharp claws digging into Greyback's body. It had taken him by surprise and allowed Artemis to dart off into the nearby woodlands. It wasn't as vast as the forest, but Artemis didn't care. She raced with the cold wind in her fur.
Artemis could outrun Greyback, she knew that much. As long as she kept moving, she would be okay.
The night was long, trying to survive so that she could find her friends. They would make it past this, they had to. They were just now figuring things out.
