JUST LIKE THAT, EVERYTHING THEY THOUGHT THEY KNEW CAME CRASHING DOWN. The Hogwarts students were in complete distraught as the three school sat in the darkened Great Hall on the very last night of their school year. Dumbledore wore a solemn look upon his face as he approached the podium to speak to his students.

Artemis was under George Weasley's arm with a frown frozen in her face. Her blue eyes were clouded with thought as she stared mindlessly at the older man.

"Today, we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was as you all know, exceptionally hard working, intricately fair minded. And most importantly a fierce fierce friend. I think therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, The Ministry of Magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so I think would be an insult to his memory. Now, the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me, reminds us that while we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one. In light of recent events, the bonds of friendship we made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that, and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain, you remember that. And we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true right to the very end."

Artemis' eyes trained down to her empty plate. She had lost her appetite long ago, and she felt like it might not come back. George still urged her to eat, offering pieces of her own food. The only Gryffindor acting more distraught than her was Harry, and he had witnessed the death of his friend.

Things were turning for the worst and the world was in turmoil with the truth of the return of Voldemort. There were plenty of people who didn't believe in it, but Artemis knew. She didn't need to see him in the flesh. She could feel the darkness around her.

"Are you okay?"George uttered softly, watching Artemis stare at the wall of the Great Hall.

"I..."Artemis shook her head,"I knew something was going to happen...I knew it and I didn't say anything. What if-"

"Don't do that, Art,"George told her, wrapping his  arms around her tightly and pulling her close."This is not your fault."

"No, you don't understand,"Artemis whispered with tears in her eyes,"I kept having these dreams, and they were trying to tell me something, but I wasn't listening. I didn't believe and now..."

"What are you going on about?"

"Omens, George,"Artemis muttered,"The entire week leading up to the last task. I couldn't figure out because I didn't truly believe. But I was wrong. I should have realize-"

"Hey, hey,"George whispered,"This isn't your fault, whether you had a dream or not. You couldn't stop this. You aren't some sort of seer. At least...not fully, right? You couldn't have truly known."

The next day brought some sunshine into the cloudy days. The skies had finally cleared up for the final day. Artemis' trunks were packed messily and sent off to the train. Today, she felt a little more like herself. Slowly, she was forgiving herself, but only with the promise that she would never ignore signs like that again. She wanted to learn more about the power she possessed.
