Summer camp, huh.
Or, more specifically, being a summer camp counselor.

Huh.

My uncle had signed me up to spend the entire Summer at a camp I've never even heard of. Apparently he had been planning this for a while, but the camp he wanted me to counsel at would only accept teenagers between seventeen and nineteen. I had turned seventeen last September. The idea of me slaving away at a hot and sweaty summer camp had probably been churning in his brain ever since.

I don't want to sign the contract in front of me, but I know there's no use in arguing. Even if I put out the most compelling argument that could be made (which I usually do) I would always be overruled by the family power structure.

So I signed it.
