"Lipstick, check. Purse, check. Shoes? Nope," I muttered to myself, searching for the final touches before I leave. The ring of my doorbell echoes throughout my house, sending me into a flurry of panic. Passing by my mirror, I stopped to do a final check over my outfit of black jeans and tee shirt with my denim jacket over it. Seems casual enough. I grab my red high top vans and hurriedly slip them on, calling out, "Almost ready, one sec Ni." I dash around to the living room, grabbing my purse and sprinted towards the door. Taking a quick second to fix my appearance, the nervousness starts to over take me. I'm going on another date with Niall, the Niall Horan.

I pushed open my front door, to see Niall standing there, hands in his blue jeans, smiling. He was wearing some sort of brown boots, a gray newsboy cap, and a dark blue flannel with a white tee shirt under it. No matter what he wore, he always looked amazing in it.

"You ready Toni bologna," he asked, reaching his hand out to me.

"Ready as I'll ever be Ni," I replied, talking his hand as he led me to his white Mercedes parked across the street.

Niall pulled up to a tall building in the middle of downtown Houston. Parking his car he announced, "There's a few things to do before we go on the date. Eddie was chewing on my leg to get me to finish something today. But it won't be long I promise Ton." He smiled reassuringly at me, reaching for my hand and rubbing it.

"Of course, I'm down with whatever," I agreed nonchalantly.

We took an elevator up to the third floor, where I saw records and albums lining the walls around us. Niall took my hand and led me down the way to an area with chairs outside of what looked to be a recording studio. "Eddie," he yelled out, "there's someone I want you to meet."

A man with warm brown skin and deep chocolate eyes came out from around a corner, holding onto a notebook. He eyes me up and down and gives a half sided smile.

"Eddie, this is Toni," Niall introduced, giving me a supportive hug around the shoulder, squishing me in excitement.

Eddie reached out a weary hand to me, "Hi, I'm Eddie. I've heard so, so much about you." He gave a decently warm smile to me as I shook my hand.

"Hi Eddie," I spoke, embarrassingly moving more into Niall.

Niall squeezed my shoulder, "Eddie wants me to work on some melodies and stuff real quick, but you can hang out here or in there, whatever you feel comfortable in doing."

I started to speak up before Eddie interrupted, "Actually it'd be best if she stayed out here. So there's no distractions and you can get done quicker." Niall frowns at his statement then gives me a quick kiss on the head before heading into the studio, leaving me by myself with the butterflies in my stomach.

Niall's POV

"So I want it to be mellow full, you know just a simple plucking on the guitar," I spoke while messing with some chords on the guitar in my lap. Eddie just nodded, writing some information in the notebook as I continued on, "And then maybe switch to a more strummy kind of sound for the chorus or after. Or maybe just continue with the plucking." Eddie just continued his mindless nodding, clearly upset or just bored with me. "So it'd be like, hey patience, can we share a glass in something something," I sang, plucking some chords on the guitar, trying to make it sound decent.

Eddie finally spoke up, chewing the cap of the pen he was using, "Sounds great man, what about the judgement song? Any more lyric ideas or something to do for the bridge?"

I messed with some more chords on the guitar, the corners of my mouth slightly turning down, "Well I have some ideas and voice memos but nothing significant has come to me. Sorry."
