Nakatalumbaba lang ako habang nakatingin sa invitation na bigay ng Student Council sa amin kanina. This is for the Annual Senior's Dance Night in five days time. Actually every year we have this Dance night, more like promenade but this is held on a garden or a hotel near the School. I am not usually fond of parties and such but since it's mandatory to all of the students and this is included for our payment on Miscellaneous Fees that's why we ought to attend here.

Good thing that Callix and Aly were partners as always since freshie days. Braces was joined by her brother or cousins before. And I was accompanied by Kuya Kieran up until sophomore. Nung mag-junior ako, I came alone dahil nasa London na si Kuya. I must say that I was a wallflower that time. Kung close na kami ni Akachan nung third year ako, malamang siya ang naging date ko. Hay, ayoko na ngang balikan 'yang bitter moments na 'yan.

I remember one time si Mikko nung third year ako, super dream ko na maisayaw niya ako but hell he won't! Kung sa bagay, hindi niya naman ako kilala noon so why bother 'di ba? Pero ngayon, siguro naman wala na akong poproblemahin sa Dance Night dahil magiging partner ko na siya.

Akalain niyo, dreams do come true? Since first year ako pinapangarap ko na sana maging date ko siya, three years ang inantay ko but worth it naman dahil ngayong fourth year kami ang magka-date ngayon. This is really a save the best for last thingy.

Pero syempre as a girl, ayoko namang ako ang mag-invite sa kanya kahit gusto kong siya ang maging ka-date ko. I want him to initiate and invite for that.

Pagkatapos ng consultation namin sa thesis at pagtingin sa invitation, t-in-ext ko si Mikko para magkita kami sa Chatime kaso hindi naman siya nag-reply agad. Well, may klase pa pala 'yun siya so aantayin ko na lang siya sa Chatime.

Katatapos lang ng klase ko. Aayain sana ako ng mga barkada ko para maglaro ulit ng soccer pero nag-refuse ako kasi t-in-ext ako ni Kayle na magkikita kami sa Chatime. Ano na naman kaya ang nangyari doon?

"Mikko!"

Paglingon ko doon sa tumawag sa akin, napataas 'yung dalawang kilay ko. It's none other than, of course, Lindsay.

"Yep?" sabi ko.

"Hi there, may problema ba?" Lind's always like this, if she wanted something from me, she will show up whatever it takes.

She tucked her hair at the back of her ear and smiled at me. "I want to talk about something really important kasi e."

I raised my eyebrows. "Important?"

Lumapit siya sa akin tapos hinila ang braso ko papunta sa gilid ng hallway. "Ano ba kasi 'yun, Lind?" binabawi ko 'yung braso ko pero hindi siya bumibitaw.

"Do you know about the Senior Dance Night?"

"Of course. What about that?"

"Uhm, I wonder if you could be my date?"

Nagsalubong ang kilay ko sa tanong niya.
