Finn
Apparently there was some kind of festival going on today in town and everyone wanted to go. Including Nova which was surprising for me. She normally doesn't like to do this sort of thing but she was looking pretty excited as we waited for the girls to finish getting ready.
She didn't carry any heavy weapons around but she did wear her thigh holsters and slipped in her handguns, putting her extra clips into her boots. She really didn't need them but I won't tell her to put them away. She wouldn't listen anyways.
"Nova come here!" Finch called from her room.
Nova grunted and slumped her way up the stairs before disappearing from my sight. We were all ready to go except for the girls. Something I like about Nova is that she doesn't wear makeup or do her hair.
Ever.
I'll admit she looked breathtaking for our date back at our future home but she was just as beautiful without it. And I guarantee you the girls are forcing her to do herself up right now. She won't take long though. She never does.
"I look like a fucking clown no! I'm not going out like this I'm taking it off!" I heard her scream as a door opened.
"No you are not! Be a girl Nova! Shut that fuckin' door or I'm telling Finn how you fantasize about-" the door closed so quickly I couldn't help but to laugh.
I did want to know what she fantasizes about. I love how innocent she is when it comes to the dirty stuff. She is a bit of a prude. I think it's cute though. She can spit in the face of death but dirty talk has her beet red and embarrassed. She's so weird.
After another twenty minutes passed I heard angry steps coming down the stairs. I walked over to the steps and had to do a doubletake. Instead of her shorts and t-shirt she was wearing before she was in a dress. Like an actual dress. The second time I've ever seen her in one. It was white at the top and strapless with a brown belt wrapped under her breasts and a light blue the rest of the way down. It was tight at the top but flowed the rest of the way down to the middle of her thighs.
She was still wearing her boots with the clips tucked safely inside and I could see the outline of her guns under the dress. She finally came down far enough to where I could see her face and damn did she look good. Her lips were a kissable berry pink and her cheeks glowed under the light. But her eyes...her eyes were what I couldn't stop looking into.
She did that cool eyeliner thing I always used to see girls doing that made them resemble cat's eyes. And around that and under her eyes too was a gold eyeshadow that matched the color of her eyes perfectly. She looked...god. She looked beautiful.
"You look...Wow." I finally managed to spit out, smiling when she started to pout and crossed her arms over her chest.
"I'm too done up. I feel weird." She grumbled, falling into me.
"You look amazing Killer. I mean it."
Her blush was barely there but I saw it. But she's embarrassed enough as it is so I won't tease her. Even though I really want to.
"I always forget you're a girl. You look nice." Ashton semi-complimented her as she gave him the middle finger.
Normally when there's a knock on the door Nova goes into protective mode and whips out a gun. But this time she didn't. Her smile came back and it was ten times wider than before. Are we expecting a guest? I hope it's not that Resistant she's been talking to. I know they trained together this morning and they had plans for tonight. Does he really need to see her that much?
She excitedly rushed for the door and pulled it open, taking the little boy into her arms with one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen on her face. He must be going with us today. I wish she would've told me so I could've prepared. I was hesitant but as I watched her sign with him and felt the warmth and excitement through our bond I caved a little. She really did like him. I even have to admit it's cute. She never gets this excited over anything.
