Chapter 16

A month had passed since bringing Riley home from the hospital. All though not all of her memory had recovered she had adjusted to living with us and would be starting school soon. She was a little heart broken when Calums girlfriend, Brianna, came to live with us but she quickly began to like her. We all did, she was a really sweet girl and we had become quite close since Morgan and Jordynn had left last week to go visit their family fir the holidays. So it was just me, Riley, Bri, and the boys. Luke and Michael were currently fighting over a pancake since their girlfriends werent there to tell them eating 4 pancakes was a bad idea.

"Sorry boys." I said stabbing the pancake. "Its mine now." I started cutting into it.

"Damn Madison," Bri teased.

"Thats your sixth freaking pancake." I stopped cutting realizing how much i had eaten.

"Holy shit it is!" Luke piped in.

"You yell at me for eating 2 and you get to eat 6!" Michael yelled but i didnt care. I had been eating alot lately and didnt even realize it. I pushed the plate away and began to walk upstairs.

"Im gonna go take a shower." I ran the rest of the way. When i got to the bathroom i weighed myself, i hadnt put on a lot of weight just a few pounds. I sat on the toilet thinking for a second when i heard a knock on my door.

"Hey Madison, can i come in?" It was Luke.

"Um yeah." He walked in kind of timid.

"In just gonna come out and say it, are you on your period." I laughed at Lukes question.

"No luke i dont start for another," i picked up the calender.

"Actually im late." My heart raced, sure i was only late by a few days but my period has never been late before. Luke looked really confused.

"Wait doesnt that mean you're," i cut him off.

"Luke dont say it, shut the door." He shut the door quietly and calmly then came and stood next to me.

"Madison, i know this is weird but have you and Ashton had sex recently?" The answer was yes, we just did it for the second time ever 2 weeks ago. But we were safe i was on birth control... but it takes birth control about a month to even take affect. Oh my god im an idiot. I fell into Lukes arms weeping.

"How could i be so stupid Luke? How could i do this to us." My words came out muffled and he just rubbed my back, not saying a word.

"I need you to go get Bri, right now, dont say anything just say that i need her." Luke nodded his head and left the room. I sat on my bed in shock. This is insane. A few minutes ago all i was worried about was the upcoming holiday, which was christmas since thanksgiving had already passed. Now im worried about this little tiny creation inside of me. My stomach started turning and i got really nauseous and ran to the bathroom, there goes my breakfast.

"You're pregnant arent you?" Bri asked behind me. I turned around facing her.

"I think so." I began to cry even more. She came and sat next to me pulling me into a hug. Before anything got too suspicious i pushed out of her hug.

"I need you to do me a favor." I wiped the tears of my face.

"Go to the store and grab atleast 3 different pregnancy tests." She nodded her head and ran out of the bathroom. I tried to pull myself together. I covered my tears the best i could then remembered i still hadnt taken my shower. I turned the water on warmer than i normally would, forgetting to plug in my phone i got in letting the hot water run over my body. All i could do was think but like always my thoughts were interupted.

"Hey love," Ashton called from outside the door. "Are you ok? You acted kind of weird at breakfast."

"Yeah im fine." I lied

"Ok well i have to go to rehearsals, are you sure you're alright?" He was so worried about me and all i could do is lie.

"Im fine Ash, i promise." Why do i keep lying. He let out a soft sigh.

"Alright, i love you." A small tear rolled down my face. I have a feeling he wont when he hears about our mistake.

"I love you too Ash." He shut the door softly. As soon as i thought it was safe i fell to the floor and cried. Ashton is going to hate me. After about another 30 minutes there was another knock at the door this time it was the one i needed.

"Madison, i got them." I did a silent thank god and shut off the water. I wrapped up in a towel and opened the door. Bri handed me a small brown paper bag. I mouthed the words thank you and shut the door. When i did what i needed to i got dressed waiting to see my results. Just what i was scared of, all positive. I sat on the bed and Bri held me as i cried.

"Ashtons going to hate me." i kept saying. She quietly shushed me petting my hair. I layed back and put a pillow over my face.

"You need some sleep." She left the room just me and my thoughts.
