Chapter 26

Im kind of in love with this chapter :)

It was 2:30 and the party started at 3 so we were hanging up some final decorations and i did some last minute baking. Riley came out of the bathroom 10 minutes before the party. She had on a cute little blue dress i got her and some sparkly converse. She curled her hair and wore light makeup that made her eyes look a hazel color. "Do i look okay?" She asked trying to check herself out.

"Of course Ri." Ashton smiled.

"Almost too good." Luke glarred at her.

"Junior better not get any ideas." Michael waved his finger.

"His name is Alex!" She defended him.

"It smells like a whore house in here." Calum smelled the air.

"It smells like my perfume." Bri also sniffed the air.

"It is your perfume." Riley laughed and Bri gave Calum an evil glare. "Sorry for using it without your permission," she tried easing the tension. "I ran out of mine." Riley smiled her sweet innocent smile that no one could resist.

"Its fine Ri, you can use it when ever, just dont use it all." She fake threatened. At that time the door bell rang. She fixed her dress and ran to the door letting in two girls. They hugged and complimented each other then went and sat on the couch gossiping. Soon enough our house was full of teenagers dancing and gossiping but still no Alex. About 30 minutes into the party the doorbell rang again. Riley was too busy dancing to notice so Luke raced Calum to the door but Michael answered it while they were pushing each other.

"Hi." The kid smiled. "Im Alex." He said. Luke and Calum stopped fighting.

"Oh so you're Alex." Luke gave a dark stare. Too bad Michael is the intimidating one. "Come in." He smiled holding out his hand to show him the way. Alex walked in hesitantly.

"Who's that?" Ashton asked behind me and i laughed.

"Thats Alex." I said leading him down the stairs. "Hi Alex." I smiled and he had an 'oh thank god you're here' look on his face. "Rileys over there." I pointed to the group she was standing with and he thanked me.

"Hey," Calum called out catching everyones attention. "We're watching you." He and the boys were leaning against the counter dog eyeing him.

"ALEX!" Riley squealed running over to him. She jumped into his arm and kissed him. He pulled away hesitantly looking over his shoulder. I cant believe the guys actually scare him. Riley noticed and jumped down grabbing his hand. "Lets go dance." She smiled intertwining their fingers. They were so cute together. Even though he reminded me of Luke their relationship reminded me of mine and Ashtons. After about 3 hours people began to leave and the party died down. Everyone had left except Alex he and Riley sat on the couch talking and playing board games.

"So Alex," Luke sat next to him throwing his arm over Alex's shoulder. "When are you going home?" Alex looked terrified.

"Yes Alex," Michael sat next to them. "Are you leaving soon or do we have time to talk with you." Alex thought for a second.

"I think i have time." He said his voice shaking.

"Do we scare you Alex?" Calum sat in front of him.

"Guys leave Alex alone!" Riley said angrily and Ashtons hand covered her mouth.

"Now now Riley we just want to ask him some questions." Ashton piped up giving him a devious smile. Poor Alex was probably starring at the muscles on Ashtons arms. I knew thats why he covered Rileys mouth to make them more appearant.

"You guys are assholes." I walked over standing next to a single chair. "Alex come sit here." He looked around hesitantly then walked over to the chair. "Ashton let go of Riley." He did and sat on the couch next to Michael. Jordynn, Morgan and Bri stood laughing in a corner. "Now if you want to ask questions we are going to be civilized about it. Calum go sit on the couch." I said. He got up following my instructions. We sat for about 20 minutes questioning him.

"Alex honey is there a certain time you need to be home?" Morgan asked.

"Dont call him honey." Michael half yelled jumping up.

"Michael," Morgan threatened making him sit down. "Alex?" She said.

"I dont think so." He replied not as scared. I think he knew we had the boys under control.

"You should join us for dinner!" Riley piped up. "Madison can he?" She silently begged.

"If his mom says ok." They smiled.

"Ill go call her." He got up and Riley led him to her room so he could talk to his mom.

"Dont tell him i said this," Calum threatened. "But he's a good kid." All the boys nodded in agreeance.

"But dont let him know that!" Ashton whisper yelled. "Because the minute he does is the minute he stops being scared of us." Just then Alex walked out of the room. "Hey Alex, thats a nice shade of lipstick you're wearing." He said and i slapped his chest.

"Jokes on you, im not wearing lipstick, its gloss." Riley stuck out her tongue.

"You're not making this better Riley." I laughed. "So can you go?" I asked and he nodded. "Great." I smiled then lets go. I stood up grabbing Ashtons hand intertwining our fingers.

"Wait!" Luke piped up. "How are we going to get there." He said making me think.

"Morgans truck seats 6 and my car seats 4, Alex and Riley will come with Ash and I then you guys can ride with Morgan." I suggested.

"Alright." He shrugged and we walked out of the house. In the car I controlled the aux since Ash was driving. On the way to the the resturaunt Riley and Alex sat in the back singing along. On the way back she layed her head on his shoulder and his shoulder and let him sing to her. The kid had an amazing voice. We took Alex home and Riley walked him to the door.

"Whats taking so long?" Ashton threw his head back.

"Do you really want the answer to that?" I giggled. He rolled his eyes.

"He better not do anything stupid." Ashton dog eyed the walk way.

"You mean like this." I said kissing Ashton.

"No i mean like this." He pulled me over to sit on his lap and our lips moved in sync. Ashton pulled away and put me back in my seat.

"Well if he did then Rileys going to be one happy girl." I winked at Ashton. He gave me a look then opened his door and got out.

"Riley its time to go." He walked up the path but she was already skipping down it.

"Im coming, im coming." She laughed getting in the car. The whole way home she smiled out of the window and constantly picked up her phone to text Alex. She was falling for this boy and falling hard. Who know maybe this is her forever.
