Chapter 20

I didnt worry about picking up Riley, she said she would be taking the bus with Alex, the boy she met at school today. I think she's crushing hard. But what i am worried about is the big announcement. Ive almost ruined the suprise 6 times. Like earlier when we got panda.

"Hey Mikey can i have some of your orange chicken?" I asked.

"No get your own." But i stabbed his chicken any way plopping it into my mouth.

"What the hell Madison." He fake yelled.

"Sorry the ba-" i stopped i almost said baby. "The belly wanted it." I quickly changed the subject asking Bri about her day.

So now we had to wait for Riley to come home so we can announce it. Ashton felt bad leaving her out of the suprise. He also didnt know that she already knew. I was way too anxious not only for the suprise but i wanted to ask Riley about the dreamy dark haired blue eyed, her words, Alex she's drooling over. I sat in the living room watching netflix trying to keep my mouth shut while the boys fought about something stupid.

"Madison, tell Luke to give me back MY xbox controller." Michael yelled but i ignored him.

"No Michael its my controller!" Luke yelled back and i giggled. Michael ran over to me grabbing my shoulders.

"Tell him its mine." He playfully shook me and i laughed.

"Give it to me Luke." Luke walked over handing me the controller. I flipped it over to see Calums name written on it in the corner. I secretly wrote the boys names on the controller after about the fifth fight. "Sorry boys, but this remote is Cals."

"I KNEW IT!" Calum jumped off the couch running towards me. He put the remote in his back pocket and threw me over his shoulder. "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU." He said jumping and spinning. Making me sick to my stomach.

"Cal im going to puke." I said but he ignored me thinking i was joking. Just then Riley walked in and noticed my naseous face.

"Calum put her down you're going to upset the baby." Well there goes the suprise. Calum put me down slowly and everyone in the room got quiet. "I wasnt suppost to say anything was I." Riley said shyly. I shook my head and she mouthed the word sorry.

"Wait, wait, wait. Baby?" Michael spoke up before anyone else. Ashton walked over to me and grabbed me from behind.

"Guys, Madison and I are having a baby." The looks on their faces were great. It was a mix of confusion, excitement, and laughter. After hugs and lots of congratulations Luke stopped the excitement.

"Guys, you know what this means? Our little Ashy is going to be a daddy." They all laughed then teased.

"Little daddy Ashy."

"Look at that punk rock baby."

I pulled Riley into her room while the boys continued to tease Ash.

"Sorry i ruined the suprise." She said sadly.

"Its ok, we were telling them today anyway." We sat in silence for a second. "So tell me about Alex." I winked and her eyes got big.

"He's soooo cute. He's 14 but he'll be 15 next month on January 16th. Oh and he's a freshman too so we have Algebra, English and lunch together. He plays the drums AND he's a baseball player, how hot is that. and last but not least he takes my bus! HE'S SO PERFECT." She flew back laying on the bed. Her teenage rant made me die of laughter.

"So i assume you have a crush on him?" I asked and she starred at the ceiling.

"You have no idea." She said seriously and i laughed more. Your first big crush is always the best.

"Do you think he likes you." I asked. She sat up and looked me straight in the eye.

"He was constantly giggling and touching my hand like he was going to hold it. Then when we got off the bus he hugged me.. for for than 5 seconds." She paused for a second remembering the moment. "He had strong arms and smelt like heaven." Her face was so serious i tried not to laugh, i didnt want to ruin her moment. "I really hope he likes me." She sighed "If he doesnt i might cry." She said laughing but i knew it was true. With the way she was drooling over him i hope he liked her too or i would never hear the end of it. "Omg i almost forgot, we took selfies today, wanna see?" She wipped out her phone before i even had time to answer. I spent the next 30 minutes sitting in her room listening to her talk about Alex and her day at school. I was so happy she had a good time i hoped it would stay like this forever. But our past tends to haunt our memory forever.
