Chapter 33

So it's official, Morgan and Michael broke it off. Morgan cried nonstop for hours so i decided to let her go.

"you dont have to stay." I said sitting down next to her. "Dont get me wrong, i want you here, but i dont want to keep you here if you dont want to be." I looked at her and she sniffled.

"I love you, but i cant be here right now, the memories are too vivid." She sighed.

"Its ok Morgan, you can go."

"But i want to be here for the babies." She hesitated.

"I'll call you," i touched her arm gently. "I promise." She nodded and i pulled her into a tight hug.

"Ill pack tonight and ill get a quick flight out of here." She wiped away her tears. I nodded and pulled her into a hug making her cry even more. "Im sorry," she sobbed. "Im sorry for
ruining everything." She cried. I didnt know what to say so i held her. She pulled out of her hug and began packing.

But in brighter news today is the final baby appointment. I got out of the shower and i heard Ashton yelling.

"Michael get your lazy ass up we're leaving in 30 minutes."

30 minutes? Guess i showered longer than i wanted to. I quickly brushed my hair, put on some makeup and got dressed. I walked out of my room and into the chaos. Ashton was running from door to door trying to get everyone ready. Luke was throwing stuff out of his room trying to find pants while Riley threw it back trying to clean the mess. Michael was still trying to get out of bed. He's not doing to well with the break up. Calum and Bri were eating breakfast. I watched them eat before i realized something.

"Calum!" I yelled "those are my fruity pebbles you ass." One day i was craving fruity pebbles and after i ate a bowl i couldnt stop. I was obsessed with them so we bought 6 boxes just to keep me content. I was constantly eating them. Calum looked at me intently before shoveling the rest in his mouth.

"Mine now." He mumbled through the cereal. I rolled my eyes and walked down stairs.

"Hey Luke, did you check the laundry room for pants?" Riley pointed.

"Good idea pip squeek." He said patting her head and she slapped him away then pushed the clothes back in his room. Right as Jordynn walked out of the bathroom.

"What the fuck is this?" She looked at the mess. "Luke come clean this up!" She yelled and he came running out of the laundry room pulling some pants on. I noticed Ashton in the living room and went and sat with him.

"You know we have an hour not 30 minutes right?" I said making him laugh.

"It makes them get ready faster." He smiled. I laughed and snuggled into his chest. "One more month." He said putting his hand on my stomach. I looked down smiling. I put my hand on top of his and intertwined our fingers.

"Are you excited?" I asked

"Of course!" He smiled "um so we should probably do some baby shopping considering we dont have a crib." He laughed and my eyes got big.

"Oh my gosh, i completely forgot." I said. Ashton and i kind of created a room, it used to be a loft type of thing but none of us used it so we started putting nursery stuff in it. It has lots of toys and is painted a cute purple color since its for a boy and girl. We have a rocking chair and changing table, all from my shower, but no cribs. "Maybe the god parents will help us." I said nodding over to Cal and Bri. They were throwing dry cereal at each other. One went into his eye and she laughed while apologizing. He pretended to be mad and she sat on his lap kissing his whole face. He finally broke and began laughing. They're so cute. Soon enough everyone gathered in the living room and we were ready to go. Seating was different without Morgans truck, we had to take Jordynns car, which also seats 5. Ashton, Riley, Michael and I were the first to get there so Ashton went and signed us in. Jordynn, Luke, Cal and Bri came in shortly after. Cal and Luke were fighting about something stupid but stopped quickly. Luke came running over to me.

"Theres alot of estragen in this room." He whispered i laughed and hit his arm. We all took our seats and a short video of how check in and stuff goes then we were lead on our tour. The tour lasted longer than i thought but soon enough we were waiting for Dr. Sanchez to do the ultra sound.

"Hospitals smell weird." Michael pulled his shirt over his nose making me laugh. Dr. Sanchez walked in and looked suprised.

"Who are all these people." She laughed asking me.

"These are my friends, but they're more like family." I explained and she nodded.

"Ok well then lets get this started." She sat down laying me back.

"Is the jelly cold?" Luke asked.

"Extremely." I laughed.

"Alright," Dr. Sanchez said "everything looks normal call me if you need anything, you can be enduced anytime after July 2nd or wait until your water breaks, which ever you prefer. Have a nice day, you guys too." She smiled leaving us.

"You guys should have tbe baby on July 4th!" Riley said excitedly.

"I was thinking the same thing." Her and Bri high fived. I looked at Ashton and he shrugged his shoulders.

"We'll see what happens." I laughed and sure enough thats what happened. My water broke at 10 pm on July 3rd and the babies were born at 3 am on July 4th with little complications. Although it was scary because the whole time we were worried about the boy the girl was born with breathing problems. It was nothing too serious her lungs just didnt work fully yet so she would most likely need an inhailer when she was older. We decided on Jakob Tyler for the boy and Mckenna Rose for the girl. Jakob was the older one even though it was only by a few minutes, i didnt end up needing a c-section. Everyone came that night but only one could be in the room with me, which was Ashton. After i got some sleep everyone came in to see the babies and i made sure they were dressed in their onezies from Uncle Mikey and Uncle Lukey. Mckenna's said punk rock princess, of course, and Jakobs said future rock star. The boys starred at them in amazement.

"They're so tiny." Luke said looking at them.

"You guys want to hold them?" I asked. Luke and Michael nodded and Ashton and I handed over the babies. They looked so awkward, they held the babies loosely so they wouldnt "break them" but tight so they wouldnt fall.

"My turn!" Bri came over calmly taking Mckenna from Michael. "Calum look at her." She handed Mckenna to Calum and took Jakob from Luke. "So we're really the god parents?" She said excitedly and i nodded. Her smile got wider and she starred at the baby.

"Hey, dont we get a turn?" Jordynn piped up pointing to her and Riley. Calum and Bri handed over the babies.

"Um guys, we have rehearsal." Luke said looking at his watch they nodded following him out of the door.

"Ill be back in a little bit babe." Ashton said kissing me. "I love you." He smiled widely.

"I love you too Ash." I smiled. I watched as Ashton walked over and picked up our new borns kissing them goodbye then handing them back and leaving.

"You look tired." Jordynn said rocking Jakob.

"I am." I rubbed my eyes and yawned.

"Then go to bed." Riley said looking over at me. I gave a worried look.

"Dont worry," Bri said. "We've got this, besides there new godmommy wont let anything happen." She smiled down at Mckenna bouncing her lightly.

"Ok." I tried to smile while yawning. I layed my head back and curled up in the hospital bed. I cant believe it, im officially a mom and i have the best family ever. Life is great. Too bad it never stays that way.
