Chapter 34

I woke up to Morgan and Jordynn sitting in my room holding the babies. "Morgan?" I asked and she smiled brightly. "Oh my god you're here, how did you.." she cut me off.

"Jordynn called me as soon as you went into labor so i got an early flight now im here and i brought presents!" She put Mckenna down and picked up a pink bag. I threw out the tissue paper and pulled out alot of baby stuff.

"Morgan they're adorable." I smiled widely "thank you so much." I said pulling her into a hug. She pulled away hesitantly.

"What time will the boys be back?" She glanced at the door.

"Im not sure." I said checking my phone. I had a text from Ashton.

From: My love

Be back in about 30 minutes.

"Apperantly in about 30 minutes." I said and her mouth made an 'O' shape.

"Well i should probably go so things dont get awkward, but i love you and ill talk to you soon ok?" She half smiled and i nodded sadly. "Ill try to make more trips out here." She said kissing the babies. "Bye guys." She waved to us.

"Where'd Ri and Bri go?" I asked Jordynn.

"Home to shower, eat and sleep." She said. She looked exhausted.

"You should probably do the same." i laughed.

"Sleep is for the weak." She said yawning. "Well i guess im weak," she smiled. "Ill see you tomorrow ok?" And i nodded. She picked up her purse and walked out of the room. After about 5 minutes Jakob began to fuss. I walked over and picked him up rocking him gently and singing. After he settled down i picked up Mckenna and sat by the window. I sang to them holding them close to me, admiring their little faces. I giggled when they would smile or yawn. I started singing my wish when i was joined by Ashton.

"You're so cute." He said kissing my temple. I smiled at him.

"Which one do you want." I laughed readjusting the babies in my arm.

"Let me see my punk rock princess." He smiled picking her up and kissing her face. "When do we take them home?" He said still playing with her.

"Sometime today." I played with Jakobs tiny fingers.

"Sounds good." He smiled at me.

"Where are the boys?" I asked

"At home preparing for these little guys." He touched Jakobs head gently. "Our kids are the cutest." He laughed. "Obviously getting their great looks from their dad." He flipped his hair and i laughed rolling my eyes.

"Ashton stop suggesting that our kids are ugly." I winked and he pretended to pout. "Oh im just kidding my love." I smiled leaning over to kiss him but he pulled away.

"Not in front of the children." He coddled Mckenna closer to him for more emphasis.

"Fine," i sighed "but as soon as we're home, you're mine." I winked before laughing.

"Ah" he said covering the babies ears. "You're so awful." He said making me laugh.

"They wont remember." I laughed rubbing my nose against Jakobs. We sat talking for a bit until a nurse came in.

"You're free to go," she smiled. "All your paper work is done, we just need to see the car seats you'll be taking the babies home in."

"No problem," i smiled. "Ash will you go get them." I stood up placing Jakob in his bed and taking Mckenna from Ashton.

"Um," he hesitated "i took them out at the house so the boys and I could go to band practice." He figited with his fingers.

"We have a trunk." I laughed. "Ill text Jordynn and ask her to bring them." I picked up my phone and began typing.

"Ill let you guys figure this out." The nurse smiled and left shutting the door behind her.

"I cant believe you forgot the car seats," i laughed "you forget everything." I said putting Mckenna in her bed. "If you forget our kids anywhere Ashton i swear," i scolded.

"I wont, i wont." He laughed grabbing my waist. "You're so paranoid." He said pulling me closer.

"Shut up and kiss me." I laughed. He leaned down and placed his lips on mine. My phone pinged, it was a text from Jordynn.

From: Jordynn

Of course Ashton forgot the car seats, be there in like 10 minutes.

"Jordynns on her way." I smiled. Ashton nodded then plopped himself in a chair.

"Wake me up when we're leaving." He said putting his arm over his face.

"Ok." I laughed sitting on his stomach. "I love you." I smiled

He took his arm off his face and grabbed my waist. "I love you too." He smiled. I leaned down and gave him a quick kiss then i got up and began to pack.
