Chapter 38

After Morgan showed up we all went home, back to our normal lives. Michael was allowed to come home tomorrow so we went to prepare but once we got there we realized there was nothing to prepare. Everything had already been clean for the babies arrival. It was midnight when we came home and everyone went to bed but Me and Riley.

"Who are you texting this late?" I asked but already knew the answer.

"Alex." She smiled. I was kind of suprised, they hadnt hung out all week.

"Where's he been?" I asked sitting next to her on the couch.

"Visiting family, he just came back a few hours ago." Her talking drifted off so she could finish her message. "Can he come over?" She asked with pleading eyes.

"Right now?" She nodded excitedly. "Sure, he can sleep in Michaels bed since Michaels not here, ill go wash the sheets." I said getting up and walking to Michaels room. I pulled off his sheets and small folded up peices of paper fell to the floor. They were letters or potential song lyrics maybe.

i wish that i could wake up with amnesia and forget about the stupid little things

I folded the paper back up and put it on his dresser. My heart ached for my best friend. I felt so bad it was unreal. I put the stuff in the washing machine then went to the kitchen to eat some cereal. Alex arrived right as i was putting the bedding in the dryer. "Hey Alex." I smiled.

"Hey." he said before hugging Riley and giving her a small kiss.

"We're going to my room." Riley called out softly trying not to wake anyone up. She went in her room making sure not to shut the door, she knows the rules. After switching the sheets i sat on the couch to watch netflix. I guess i dozed off because i was later woken up by Riley.

"Hey, Alex and i just put the sheets back on Michaels bed, we're going to sleep, you should too." She said. I nodded my head yawning. "Goodnight Ri." I said walking up stairs. I went to the nursery and turned on there lamp. I kissed my kids goodnight then went to my room to crawl into bed.

"Hey, you're finally back." Ashton lightly giggled.

"Yeah, Alex came over so i had to stay up and watch them." I laughed.

"Oh yeah because you're so good at that." He said sarcastically.

"Shut up." I laughed snuggling into his embrace.

"Im just saying, with us watching those kids actually get away with alot." He yawned.

"Well atleast i know they dont have sex." I smiled. I know they havent, Riley would've told me and she knows better, the door is always open and someones always watching. Ashton wrapped his arms around me tightly.

"Goodnight love." He said before Kissing me.

"Goodnight Ash." I said curling into him.

In the morning Michael came back explaining that him and Morgan made up but arent a couple. She has too much going on and had to go home to finish school work so now they're strictly just friends.

So thus chapter was good and bad at the same time, i wasnt sure of how to end it so the ending sucks, anyway comment whatcha think
