We got into the hallway and I tried to catch up with Daniel. He has long legs and walks pretty fast, so I ended up practically running to catch up.
"Why are you breathing heavily?"He stops in the hallway and looks around
"You're making me run...that's exercise...me and exercise...no no" I say panting
"I'll slow down, only because I don't want to go to class" He started walking at a slower pace
We walked down the hallways in awkward silence. I was going to say something but I couldn't get my words out.
We came up to a door and Daniel just walked in and stormed to the back of the room.
I could see around about 16 more people sat behind desks. I just stood at the door while everyone looked at me. Suddenly, a tall male popped their heads round the door, which gave me a bit of a scare.
"Ahhh you must be Paige, you going to come in or not? I mean we don't bite" He laughs while showing me in "You can sit next to Cameron, or you can sit on the floor" He pointed to a boy with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
I sat down next to him and he didn't even look at me.
"Everyone this is Paige, the new student, be nice!" The teacher laughed "Oh, by the way, I am Mr Shaw"
I nodded and got my notebook out my bag.
"Right, I need to go and do stuff so... revise and talk among yourselves" Mr Shaw said while leaving the door
As soon as he went out I turned to Cameron.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you Cameron"
"Yeah" He still didn't look up
"I hope you don't mind me sitting here, I didn't want to sit on the floor"
"No... It's fine"
"I like your hair" right, I regret saying that now, but, I didn't know what to say
He laughs and looks up into my eyes.
"You too" He smiles "I'm sorry... I'm just... not very good with girls at the minute"
"I'm no good with boys.. we could be good friends" I smile back
"Yeah" He keeps the smile on his face "I'd like that"
"Tell me more about you then Cameron" I ask
"Erm... I'm not very interesting" He says itching the back of his neck
"I guess we have something in common"
We both smile at each other
