I woke up and walked down the hall to see Jade sat in the kitchen with Mom.
"Morning." I said walking in on my crutches.
"How have you been Bailey?" Jade asked as I sat down.
"Good just really bored." I said.
"Well I spoke with your doctor and there is an operation available to you. It could speed up your recovery time or it could ruin your chances of ever playing sport again." Jade said.
"What's the success rate of the surgery?" Mom asked.
"It's a fairly new surgery so it's a 50/50 chance." Jade said.
"How fast would my recovery period be if the surgery works?" I asked Jade.
"You could be back to sport in about 8 weeks with a knee support." Jade said.
"I'll think about the surgery and let you know." I said.
"Alright do you still want to work out downstairs?" Jade asked me.
"Yeah." I said. We walked downstairs to the basement which had been turned into and insane gym with an ice tank and a pool for hydrotherapy and a shower. I worked with the punchbag until I had to go upstairs and get ready for school. I went to get dressed and do my hair.

I walked into the kitchen on crutches and made myself a fruit bowl with yogurt and a fruit smoothie. I was sat at the breakfast bar when Mom came into the room in her work uniform.
"I'm off to work have a good day at school, Mija." Mom said kissing my cheek.
"Okay Mom. Oh I've got a date with Reggie straight after school. So I might be a little late." I said.
"Alright take this. Have a good time." Mom said handing me a twenty.
"Bye Mom." I said as she walked out.
"Bailey I spoke to your doctor and they said you could have the surgery here in Riverdale if you decide to go ahead with it." Jade said
"Thanks Jade." I said
"Morning ladies." Rhys said walking in.
"What are you doing here? Veronica and I have school and my moms at work." I said.
"Jade are you busy later?" Rhys asked her.
"I'm not going on a date with you Rhys." Jade said while Veronica walked in.
"Why not? Come on give me a chance." Rhys tried.
"Rhys leave Jade alone." I said.
"Yeah, Jade has better things to do than go on a date for one of the spoilt rich kids she works for." Veronica said.
"Why do you hang out with Bailey then?" Rhys asked Jade.
"Your sisters are great to hang out with and I'm 19 you're 24 Rhys." Jade said.
