I was in my room getting dressed when Jade walked in.
"What's up baby sister?" Jade asked.
"Nothing much. I'm just getting ready." I said.
"Girls, I bought you some things." Veronica said walking in. She handed me hoodies, t-shirts, ripped jeans and trainers. Then handed me two boxes. One box had a Rolex watch and the other had an Apple Watch.

"Mom is going to kill you." Jade said.
"Oh I have more." Veronica said.
"Veronica Cecilia Lodge get here now." Mom yelled.
"What did you do?" I asked.
"I may or may not have gotten a puppy." Veronica said walking out of the room.
"Rest in piece." I said as she walked out.
"Let's go watch this." Jade said.
"You just wanna see the puppy." I said.
"I do and I know you do too." Jade said. We walked out to see a golden retriever puppy. Mom and Veronica were arguing again.
