NOTE: This story is based on the Beastars anime, not the manga.

My name is Y/N. I am enrolling into Cherryton Academy, I come from a "prestigious" and wealthy family. My father is, well was, the CEO of a large company. He didn't get fired, and he didn't resign. He was killed and devoured. My father was a herbivore, a Gorilla. Yes, it seems strange that a strong Gorilla was devoured and killed, but we was ill at the time. He got sick and was killed right after leaving the hospital, my mother and I were late. Too late, when we arrived he was a dead, bloody corpse. The image Is burned into my brain, and I'll never be able to un-see it. He died at the end of August, I was just about to start school. My mother was driven into a spiral. I stayed in my room for a month. And a while after that my mother regained her senses. My mother is also a wolf. Yes, I am mixed species. I don't have any Gorilla attributes, I look like my mother, a grey wolf. My fur is a harsh white. You might be thinking, why? I am albino. It's very rare, so some animals are either amazed or freaked out. I only have one attribute from my father. I am not nocturnal. I am able to stay up at night, but that is just because I'm a night owl. My vision in the dark is horrible. Because of this, I get scared in the dark very easily. I am just a shy and paranoid person by nature. But carrying on, my mother regained her senses and told me I would start school in October, a month after school had started. The first Monday of October was a week away, so I packed early so I could sulk in my bed, and pity myself.

"Y/N," I rolled over in my deep slumber. "Y/N. Y/N!" I yawned and my eyes fluttered open. My mothers stern face stood over me.

"Ugh.. mom! Why are you waking me up so early? Its Sunday.." She stared at me. " It's three in the afternoon Y/N! It's anything but early." I looked at my wall clock and sighed. I stayed up till four in the morning last night watching Netflix. I had slept for 11 hours but I was still extremely tired. I usually wake up late, so my mother had started waking me up so I could get used to the early mornings. As I regained my memories after getting up, I remembered my mother woke me up earlier, but I fell asleep again. "Y/N, we are going shopping." My tired face lit up, it was one of my favorite activities. "What? Why didn't you tell me!" Giddy, I pranced over to my dresser and picked out a autumn outfit. It consisted of a Whitish-Gray skirt, pinkish turtle-neck sweater, and black flats with pink bows accenting it. I took a long shower and enjoyed the steam. I dried my fur and slipped into my clothes. I grabbed my small backpack on the way out the door and held my phone. "Mommy! I'm ready to go." Good, the chef prepared us a snack. I walked down the curved staircase and made my way into the entry way. I looked out the glass double doors and smiled. It was cloudy, my favorite weather. The orange-yellow trees complementing the sky. I walked into the kitchen and looked on the island counter. There was a platter of macarons laid next to some sparkling water. I gasped and smiled. "Mommy! You know their my favorite dessert!" I ran and gave her a tight hug. She giggled and smiled. I ate a few and got comfortable on the stool. My mother watched me for a few minutes and sighed. "Y/N you have to watch how much you eat. Sweets aren't healthy." I stared at her and frowned." I know.. But it's so good!" She sighed and grabbed my wrist. She had to practically drag me out of the door. The chauffeur waited outside the dark SUV and opened the door. "Thank you, Mark." I smiled at him. "Of course, miss." I climbed into the car and sat next to my mother. We drove to the city and shopped for hours.

We finally arrived home, and I stretched. "Ah.. what a fun day!" I smiled and grabbed the bags I set on the floor. I skipped to my room and fell on my bed. I sighed, reflecting on the wonderful day. I closed my eyes, then glanced at my calendar. I stifled a scream when I saw Monday. I covered my mouth with my clawed hands. I groaned out-loud. "Is that why she took me shopping? To distract me from tommorow? That decisive woman.." I walked over to my dresser and picked out some spandex and a baggy sweatshirt. I stared at my large canopy bed. I would miss it. I'm not a spoiled rich kid, but the luxuries of being rich were very... alluring. I slipped off my turtle-neck sweater and pulled off my skirt. I threw them into my laundry basket and looked in the mirror. "I'm ugly.." I sighed, (NOTE: Reader-Chan is lying! We are MIGHTY FINE, we just don't realize it. Everyone else does though, -cough-) But shrugged it off. I walked into the bathroom and slipped off my lacy undergarments. I ran the bath and poured in some bath salt, I inhaled, smelling the rosy fumes. I smiled, and stepped in. I had a small end table positioned next to me, and on it was a book. The City of Brass, very good read. It was funny, in it were stories of these things called people! With skin covering all of them. She stared at her soft fluffy hands and shivered. That sounds horrendous. She finished her bath an hour later and stepped out. She slipped into her underwear and then pulled on her clothes. She plopped onto her bed, and looked at her wall clock. It read 8:57. I sighed, and remembered my mothers words. "You should always sleep early on school nights! You need rest for the next day." I shrugged, and decided to listen to her advice. I put my phone on the charger and closed my eyes. What did the next day await for me?

Hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter. :) I will be updating this on a regular basis, and I'm about to write another chapter now. Feel free to comment any suggestions or criticism. And each chapter has about 1000 words so it may take a while to write them, until next time Reader-Chan! <3
