Part 13: Back

Y/N POV

I stirred in my sleep, and my eyes fluttered open. I felt Legosi's arms wrapped around me. I looked at the alarm clock next to the bed, and shook him awake. "Legosi.. wake up. We have to get back to school." He opened his eyes, and yawned. I slipped out of his arms and took his tank-top from the dryer. I threw it at him. "Here, get dressed. We'll leave in a bit." I yawned, my eyes heavy. I opened the small minifridge under the counter of our hotel, and I grabbed a water bottle. I twisted off the top, and took a sip. Legosi finished getting dressed, and I opened the door, and walked outside. "Well, let's go."  It was dawn when we got close to Cherryton Academy. The sun reflected off the ocean, making it a yellowish blue. I looked at Legosi, and grabbed his arm. "It's really pretty this morning." He nodded, "I'm glad that it's not raining. That would've been horrible weather to walk in." I let go of his arm, and finished walking up the hill. I smiled, seeing the familiar buildings of the school was comforting. Legosi followed me, and we walked through the gate. I pracitcally ran to my dorm building. Legosi still followed me, and I stopped outside the door. I jumped to give him a hug, and he held me up. I put my chin on his shoulder. "Legosi, be careful. Your dorm mother is evil." I giggled as he let go of me, and then I hopped on the ground, he turned and I watched him as he walked. I didn't miss the way he wagged his tail. I smiled, and walked inside. I practically collapsed as I opened my door. I had an hour till class started, so I took a quick shower, and got dressed in a hurry. I looked in the mirror, my uniform comforting. I sighed, I couldn't believe everything that happened in one day. I grabbed my bag and slipped it over my shoulder. As I walked in the halls I closed my eyes, deep in thought. I heard footsteps, and I ran right into something, or- someone? My nose burned, and I opened my eyes. Bill stood infront of me. I slowly got up, and started to walk around him. "Y/N! Where were you yesterday? Everyone was worried." I scowled, and turned to face him. I crossed my arms, "I was kidnapped by a gang, was about to be devoured, and then slept in a hotel because I couldn't get back here." His eyes were wide, and I shrugged. I started walking away, and. "Y/N wait! Did Legosi come with you too?" I decided not to answer that question. I wanted to leave him thinking.

Legosi POV

I walked to the festival alone today. Y/N asked to go with me, but I said I had extra work to do. I had to think of the right words to say to her, I didn't want to say something wrong. I eventually made my way there. I walked throught the gates and walked over to the rest of drama club. The dance team was already dressed up, getting ready for their performance. I walked into the drama clubs tent, and everyone turned to look at me. I waved, and walked over to the lights. I argued with Kai about the lights for a little bit. I discussed it with him for a while, and we finally decided on them. I heard footsteps, and someone walked into the tent. It was Juno. I turned back around, and started to work on the lights again. I heard them chattering with eachother. I turned back around, and started to walk out the exit,  and I stopped my Juno. "Do your best!" I walked away, and stood outside. Looking at the moon, I thought of Y/N. I walked around the festival. Thinking of what I should say to her, I decided I should find her. I looked around, but I couldn't see her anywhere. I moved towards the crowd that was attracted towards the stage. I tried to search for her scent, but the punches to my face from yesterday messsed up my nose. I panicked, did something happen? What do I do? I looked around, and I started to sweat. I felt something touch my hand, and I looked down. Y/N was standing there. I exhaled, "Y/N, you scared me! I couldn't find you." I couched down to make eye-contact with her. She raised an eyebrow, "I was in the crowd the whole time. You probably should have checked here first." I shrugged, but grabbed her hand. "Y/N, I..-" I felt a bright light on me, and I saw Y/N cover her eyes. I felt Tao grab my hand, and he dragged me on stage. I looked back at Y/N, and she had her hand out-stretched, and she slowly put it down once she saw me. She looked away, and rubbed her eyes. I reached the stage, and Tao practically hurled me on it. I didn't listen to what Juno was saying. I was just trying to find Y/N, I couldn't lose her. 

Y/N POV

I frowned as Legosi was dragged on stage. I heard Juno talking about saving a student, and that carnivores try they're hardest to help. What a load of bull. I turned away, I didn't want to watch them together. I walked away from the crowd, I didn't know where I was walking, but I just grabbed my backpack from the tent and left. I looked around the festival's grounds. I turned back, and saw Legosi at the meteor with Juno, and tears stung my eyes. I clenched the straps to my backpack, and turned a corner on the sidewalk. I felt hands grab me, and a hand covered my mouth, I heard a whispered in my ear, "Don't worry.. just relax, it'll be good in a moment." I bit the hand covering my mouth, and screamed. I felt another pair of hands grab me, and I struggled. I felt a hand coming dangerously close to my boobs, and I stomped on someones's foot and screamed again. I felt the hands lose their grip, and nobody was holding me anymore. I looked around, and saw Legosi, he was infuriated, but seeing him was all the same. He grabbed my hand, and we started running. We stopped at a ledge surverying the ocean, and I fell to my knees. I looked up at him, and tears stung my eyes. I got up, and forced myself into his arms. "Legosi, I need your help." I looked up at him, tears streaming down my face. "I can't live without you anymore. It hurts me to say this, but I need you with me, Legosi!" I put my face back into his chest, still crying. He crouched down, and pulled me close. I could feel his fast heartbeat against my chest. "My either, Y/N. Me either.."
