Part 3: Friends?

Legosi's POV

He panicked, she was coming this way. She approached and smiled at us. "Hi, I'm Y/N. I hope that we can be friends." She closed her eyes and smiled. I inhaled and smelled a light spritz of perfume. The other members of the group introduced themselves, and when she looked at me I froze. She held out her hand for me to shake it, and I panicked. Dom stared at me, his black eyes comforting. "I-I uh, I'm Legosi.." She smiled at me sweetly. "Nice to meet you, Legosi." Her voice was so.. alluring.. It was girly, but not very high pitched, and it wasn't low pitched either. I was captivated by her, and she'd only spoken to me one time. I exhaled, and tried to gain my composure.

We walked outside, where we usually did the sewing. It was a sunny day, and it smelled fresh. We sat in a circle, and I worked on a vest. I totally forgot about the other night, where I attacked the rabbit. I was only thinking of her. I looked at her as she worked. She looked so peaceful, she already fit right in. "Y/N, I have a question." Dom took out a paper. "Yes? What is it?" She sounded so genuine already.. "Can you go to the gardening club and pick up some roses? I'd like to decorate the auditorium." She smiled at him. "Sure thing. Can someone go with me though? I don't know my way there." I was sweating. I wanted to go, but I was too nervous to say it. "Legosi would love to take you!" Dom stared at me, and smiled. I sweat even more. "I-uh, okay.. let's go then.." She stood up, and I realized how short she was. I had to be atleast a foot taller than her. She looked up at me "So, where is it?" She asked. I turned my head, I couldn't make eye contact. "It's on the roof, up these stairs here." While we walked through the halls boys passing stared at her. I grew suddenly irritated, but I don't know why.

Y/N POV

While we walking I could feel him looking at me. I didn't mind, he seemed so nice. He probably just has never seen an albino animal before. While we walked boys stared at me, which was normal. But girls stared at me, and stared at the boys looking at me, then looked angry. I frowned, and my ears fell. It's not anything new. I sighed, and then we arrived at the gardening club. "Thanks for taking me, Legosi. Lets go inside." I knocked and a small rabbit opened the door. I looked over at Legosi and he was sweating bullets. He looked really uncomfortable. So, I wanted to find a way to get us out of here. "Hi, I was wondering if we could pick up some roses?" She looked at me, "Well I suppose, but my flowers are very precious to me." I hatched a plan. " Oh, well I'm sorry, we can go get the roses somewhere else, but they are very pretty." I smiled and turned around. Legosi was frozen. I grabbed his hand and his head shot around. "C'mon, Legosi, let's go." His hand was huge, 2 of mine could fit on his palm. It was oddly comforting. We walked together down the hall, he was really tense. I let go of his hand and stretched. "I think we can get the flowers somewhere else, I know a good flower shop my mom goes to." I smiled at him. "I-uh, okay. Sounds good." He looked away from me quickly. We made our way back to the club, and it ended shortly after that.

I went to the cafeteria for dinner, and got the carnivores meal. It was very crowded, so I decided to go outside. I sat on a ledge, my legs dangling over the edge. I had just started eating, when a few girl animals approached me. It was a panther, seal, and gopher. I smiled as they walked towards me, and I set my tray down. They only scowled. "Hey, why are all the boys looking at you? My boyfriend was staring at you, you better explain yourself." Growled the panther. I started sweating. "I-uh, I'm sorry I just, it's not my fault I can't help it.." She walked closer. "You're just a freak, a freak with a skin disorder. The boys only look at you cause your different. You're an ugly bitch." She scowled. Tears brimmed my eyes. "I-I'm sorry.." I stood up and grabbed my tray. She grabbed my bowl of stew and threw it on me, then she pushed me over the ledge. "Go to hell!" She practically screamed at me. I was about to start sobbing. She threw my whole tray at me. I laid there on the ground for a while. I was sobbing, and the girls laughed as they walked away. "Will it always be this bad?" I whispered to myself, and my voice broke with sobs.

Legosi POV

It was dinner, I sat with Jack and the others. I suddenly got an odd feeling. I was already finished, so I threw away my food and put my tray on the pile. I walked outside, and I heard quiet sobbing. I walked over, and gasped as I saw Y/N. I walked towards her, I was suddenly worried. She laid on the ground, covered in food. I touched her shoulder, I tensed up. "A-Are you okay Y/N? What happened." She looked up at me, her eyes were red and puffy, and her pinkish nose was wet. "I- Legosi..I'm fine." She sat up and smiled at me, when she closed her eyes a tear fell. I gave her a hanker-chief so she could wipe off the food. She sniffled. "Thank you Legosi, you're r-really nice." I walked her to her dorm building, the sun was setting. When we were there she turned around to face me. "Legosi, do you think we could be friends?" I was nervous, but I couldn't help smiling. "Well, yeah." She gave me a piece of paper. "All friends have to have the ability to face time!" I read it, it was her number. My eyes grew wide. "I-yeah, your right." She pulled me into a hug. I froze, and I started sweating. She looked into my eyes. I forced myself to not look away. "Thanks for today Legosi, you really made me happy." I gave her an awkward smile. "Yeah, a-anytime." I watched her as she walked away, and for some reason I was feeling really ..happy?
