Part 22: Discovery

Y/N POV

I was jamming my thumbs into my phone, I was texting Legosi rapidly. We usually have breakfast around this time, but he said he was still in bed. I huffed, I wanted to spend time with him. I walked out the door, and stared at the floor as I walked. I felt something hard crash into me, and I rubbed my forehead, wincing. I looked up, and saw Rouis holding out his hand. I scowled, but took it anyway. "Thank you, Rouis." I brushed off my skirt, and started walking. I could see he was about to talk, but he stopped. I kept walking, and started going to the cafeteria. I heard yelling, and I looked over to the side, but saw nothing. I closed the door, and started walking. I peeked around the corner, and saw a black and white bunny and her friends pushing a fully white bunny. I started walking towards them, and I put my hands behind my back, "Uhm, why are you doing that?" I don't know why I asked, it was a stupid question. "Who are you? Why are you so concerned?" She looked at me, and scowled. But then, her ears fell. "A-Are you a carnivore?" I raised an eyebrow, and lifted one of my lips with one of my fingers. Plenty of people told me that I had un-naturally sharp canines. She staggered back, and her and her friends started running. I shrugged, and looked at the rabbit. She wasn't that much shorter than me, it was probably 3 inches of difference. I smiled at her, "Y'know you didn't have to help me, it doesn't get to me." I shrugged, "It was just a nice gesture, and it would be kind of awkward if I just stood there." She nodded, "Yeah, I guess you're right. Want to go have breakfast?" I smiled, "Okay, sure." I walked with her to the entrance, and we opened the door. I walked over to the counter, and narrowed my eyes. I picked out the herbivore breakfast, and sat down with the bunny. She looked at my food, then at me. "Are you mixed species?" I nodded, "Yeah, so I can eat both." She shrugged, and started eating. "I'm Y/N by the way, it's nice to meet you. What's yours?" She looked up, and smiled. "It's Haru, and it's nice to meet you too." I chatted with her as we ate, and I decided to ask her a question. "Hey, want to hangout after school?" She looked up from her food, and smiled. "Yeah, that would be nice. Want to help me out at my club?" I smiled, "Yeah, we aren't doing anything important in drama club today, so I'll help out. Just meet me at the school's main building." She grinned, and so did I. We got up, and we put away our trays. I waved her goodbye, and started walking to the school's main building. . . . I yawned as I walked to drama-club. I was going to tell Legosi that I was helping out the gardening club, and I wouldn't be coming. I knew I was early, but Legosi was usually early. I pushed open the door, and covered my mouth. My eyes got wide, and I staggered back. I opened the door to see Juno on top of Legosi. She was blushing, and she looked really happy. Legosi heard the door open, and looked up. He saw my expression, and almost pushed Juno off of him. He stood up, and started walking towards me, but I slammed the door, and started running to the front of the building. My breathing was eratic, and my mind was scattered. What just happened? I saw Haru approaching, and I calmed myself down. I don't know what it was, but I can't let it get to me. But thats way harder than it sounds.

Legosi POV

I walked into drama-club, and looked up. Juno was practicing a new dancing routine for another summer performance. She saw me, and grinned. I walked over to me, "Legosi! Your early! Want to help me practice, please?" I shrugged, "Okay, why not?" I helped Juno for about 10 minutes, giving her pointers, and re-directing her movements. She was going forward, and tripped on my foot. She pushed me down, and landed ontop of me. I raised an eyebrow, but she didn't get up. I saw her blushing, and I heard the door open. I looked over, and Y/N was in the doorway. He face contorted into an expression I'd never seen on her face before. It was sadness, suprise, and betrayal. Juno was about to get off of me, and I sat up like shot. She shook her head, and slammed the door. I froze, standing at the door. I heard Juno walking behind me, "Is she.. your girlfriend?" Sadness was pressed onto her face, and I turned around. I could feel my ears droop. "It doesn't matter. Club starts soon." I went to the stage, and sat on it. I couldn't forget the expression on Y/N's face, I'd never seen anything close to that. I went through drama-club in a daze. We didn't do anything very important, so it didn't really matter. I walked out slowly, and my ears were obviously down. I felt someone hit my shoulder, and I looked over slowly, and Bill was there. I looked back infront of me, and kept walking. I heard him say something, but I didn't listen. I walked outside, and it was pouring down rain. I kept walking, and I looked up into the sky, why was I so down? Is it really this bad without her? I looked at her dorm building as I walked passed. How can I fix this? I-I have to fix this.

this chapter is shorter than normal but it's 3 am and i didn't want to right anymore+ i didn't think it would work if i added a whole different chapter into the same chapter. so anyway i hope you still liked this chapter even though there is tea! anyway i wont post anymore i gotta sleep. okay goodnight, byee!! :) <3 NOTE: for some reason I forgot to publish this so I don't think 23 made sense.. anyway, hope you understand
