Part 6: The News

Legosi POV

I felt bad. I made Y/N cry, I tried to comfort her but I still couldn't shake the feeling. I stared at her as I walked her to her dorm, trying to find a way to apologize. "Hey, Y/N-" But she spoke before me, "Legosi, I'm really sorry." What? Why would she apologize? "I just, I know I over-reacted I probably made you upset." I stared at her, sweating. "No, I'm sorry Y/N." I stopped and crouched down to look at her. "I don't know why, I just lost control, I was so angry."  She walked closer and gave me a hug. "Legosi, it's okay. I don't know why you were angry, but your always so calm. You have to let it out sometime." She let go and smiled at me, my expression didn't change. "Let's keep walking." We didn't talk the rest of the way there. I kept thinking about her words, and my questions from last night. I stopped as we reached her dorm building, and she turned around to face me. "Legosi, thanks again for walking me home." She flashed a smile and walked inside. I stood there for a moment. I reflected on the day, on Y/N, on Bill, and on my thoughts. Everytime I saw her I got more attached. I rubbed my face with my clawed hands. I groaned out loud. Y/N.. whats next for me? What's next for us?

Y/N POV

A month has passed since that day, since Legosi got into a fight with Bill. His back is scarred now, but it's still apparent. The weather got warmer, and the sun set later. Legosi still walked me to my dorm every day, like an unspoken rule. I haven't seen the panther girl and her friends in a while, but I didn't complain. I have gotten happier since then, or maybe it's just because I see Legosi so much. It's something about him, it makes me genuinely happy. I think about that a lot. About him a lot. But, that's just what friends do, right?

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. I hit my phone violently as my alarm went off. I rubbed my face and dragged myself out of bed. I still had an hour until I usually get breakfast with Legosi, so I decided to take a shower. I used my favorite fruity conditioner that smelt like peaches. I sat in the shower, thinking about the day to come. I yawned and stepped out of the shower.I slipped on my underwear and clasped my bra. I reached for my uniform, but- it wasn't there? I groaned, I must have forgot it in my closet. I sighed, and stepped out of the bathroom. I made my way to the closet and grabbed my uniform. I glanced over at my couch and froze. There he was, Legosi was sitting on my couch. He was staring at me, his face blank. I stared back, my face blank. "I-uh," I didn't know what do say. He made an akward, startled noise, and covered his face. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't know, I-" I ran back into the bathroom and stifled laughter. I got changed and came out. I smiled at him, "What are you doing here?" He didn't make eye contact with me. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't know you were changing." I laughed, "It's fine, you weren't looking anyway." I grabbed my bag and my phone, "I'm ready when you are. Let's go!" I grabbed his hand and walked out the door.

Legosi POV

I walked into Y/N's dorm. She either came to my dorm, or I came to hers. I waited on her couch, looking around her room. It was nice, there were plants, and lots of fluffy pillows. I heard the bathroom door open, and I looked behind me, smiling. I froze. She wasn't looking at me, but she was walking to her closet, in nothing but her underwear. I tried to look away, but I was frozen. The rest was a blur, I only remember her taking my hand and us leaving. We got out of her dorm building, and I saw Jack. He waved at us and walked over. Y/N and Jack weren't very close, but Jack was very attached to her whenever they were together. We made our way to the cafeteria, and ate our breakfast.

I met up with Y/N before we went to drama club. We walked into building 2, and chatted with the rest of the art department. Once everyone was here, the Pelican who directed the club came to the front. "We were asked again, to be apart of the meteorite festival." Chatter echoed across the room. I felt something tug on my shirt, I looked down. "Legosi! This is gonna be fun!" She smiled at me. I smiled back. We sat against the stage, and Dom looked at us. "We should go have a meeting in the back." He smiled, but we groaned. We made our way to the back, and Dom told us we had to make another dinosaur. Y/N looked at the last one. "We have to make another one of these giant things?" She frowned. "How did you do it last year?" I shrugged, "I just kind of painted it." She stretched, "Well, whats the plan?"

Y/N POV

I yawned after we finished the plan,  we were going to make another dinosaur, but it wouldn't be green this time. I grabbed my bag and waited for Legosi at the front. I smiled as he walked towards me. "Sorry for the wait, had to put the supplies away." I shrugged, "It's fine, sorry for not helping." We walked together around the campus, I wanted to be nice so I decided to ask him a question, "Hey Legosi, want to go get some dinner?" He looked down at me, and smiled. "Okay, sounds good. Let's go." We made our way to the cafeteria and got the carnivore dinner. We chatted happily as we ate our food. He finished before I did but waited until I was done. I stretched, and yawned. I finished my food and put my tray on the pile. We left the cafeteria soon after that, making casual conversation. "Legosi, thanks for having dinner with me." I smiled at him, and he smiled back. "I usually have to eat alone, so this was really nice." I grabbed hold of his hand and gave it a light squeeze. He looked away from me, sweating. I let go and walked ahead of him. I yawned. I turned around and started walking backwards. I gave Legosi a close-eyed smile. "Bye Legosi! See you tommorow, thanks for taking me!" I waved as I walked away. 

Legosi POV

She grabbed my hand.. I started sweating and looked away from her. She turned to look at me while she was walking. She smiled at me while closing her eyes. I couldn't help but smile back.  "Bye Legosi! See you tommorow, thanks for taking me!" She waved. I gave her a small wave and turned around. I stared at my hands, and turned to look at the back of her head. I sighed, and turned to walk back to my dorm. I whispered to myself "The meteorite festival.." Maybe I'll tell her there.. I shrugged, and kept walking to my dorm. I sighed, "Y/N, what will I do?"

This was a cute chapter, what will Legosi do at the meteorite festival?? hmmm...
