Part 20: Realization

Y/N POV

I woke up, and my eyes fluttered open. I looked up, and I saw Legosi's sleeping face. I felt a light pain in my head, but shrugged it off and sat up. I almost fell off the bed. My head was pounding, and I fell back, my hand slipped off the bed and I yelped. I saw Legosi sit up and look at me. I was halfway off the bed, and I looked up. I felt like I was going to throw up, and Legosi had a worried expression on his face. I probably looked like I was gonna throw up, too. He stretched out his hand, and I grabbed it and pulled myself up. I fell back onto the pillow, and groaned. "Legosi, I feel like I'm dying." He sighed, and closed his eyes. "Well, you did drink a full bottle of whiskey." I drew back, and tried to raise an eyebrow, but couldn't. I clapped my hand to my mouth, and jumped off the bed. I ran into the bathroom attached to the bedroom, and gagged.   . . .   I walked out, and wiped my mouth.  "Did you throw up?" I nodded, and shook. I don't usually throw up, and the feeling haunts me whenever I do. I decided to not go back into bed, and walked into the kitchen. I couldn't really call it walking, it was more of a stumble. I quickly sat into a stool for the kitchen's island, and I looked at the fridge. I quickly walked over, and opened the fridge. I grabbed the cake from the night before, and started eating it. I heard Legosi walk out of the room, and I looked over, "Are you eating that whole thing by yourself?" I shrugged, "Trying to." He turned back around, and walked back inside. He quickly came out with a box in his hand. I looked up, and raised an eyebrow. "What's that?" He walked over to me, and handed me the box. I smiled, it was hangover medicine. I opened the package, and took a pill with a drink of water. I sighed, "That should make it better soon." He nodded, and sat down next to me. "So, what do you want to do today?" I shrugged, "We go home tommorow, so we should do something fun." He stretched, "Sounds good to me." I was almost finished with most of the cake, but Legosi stopped me. "Y/N, that isn't good for you." I frowned, but shrugged. "I guess so. Help yourself." I hopped off the stool, and walked back into the room. I looked through my suitcase, and  picked out denim shorts, and a light pink spaghetti strapped tanktop. The pain in my head was only light now, and it was easy to walk. I came back into the main-room, and stetched. "So, decided a place to go?" He nodded, "There's a nice beachside cafe thats supposed to have good food." I smiled and grabbed my small backpack. "Sounds good to me. You ready?" He nodded, and we walked towards the door. "The day awaits!" He smiled, and we walked outside.

Legosi POV

We arrived at the cafe, and we walked inside. I looked around, and it was really nice. A large wall of windows surveryed the ocean, and smooth tables were scattered around the room. Y/N walked over to the counter and started to order. "..Mhm, and could I also get.. that frosted cookie?" The cashier nodded, and Y/N smiled. "Thank you very much." She turned to look at me, and motioned for me to go to the counter. "Hi.. could I get the green tea, and the milk bread?" The cashier nodded and smiled, and I turned around to go to a table. Y/N sat down, and smiled at me. "So, what else should we do today?" She put her head on her chin, and looked up as if to think. "Well, maybe we could go to the boardwalk. Theres a few shops, and a ferris wheel." I looked up, "That's a good idea." The waitress came and gave us our food, and I watched Y/N as she happily ate her cookie. I was just now realizing that she took really small bites. I barely ever saw her eat big bites of any food. I started eating my bread, and I took a sip of my tea. The drink Y/N ordered was strawberry soy milk. She finished a little after me, and smiled. She already paid, so we left the cafe. She stretched, and we started walking along the beach. Y/N looked down at the ground, it looked like something was bothering her. I frowned, "Y/N, is something wrong?" She looked up at me, "I know what you look like normally, you've been seeming down for a few days." She drew back, shocked. She stopped walking,  looking at the ground. "I-I don't know Legosi."  She looked up, and it looked like she was gonna cry. "It's just like this sometimes." I looked back at her, "What's it?" She opened her eyes wide, "I-I meant I'm like this sometimes. I just get unnaturally sad." I raised an eyebrow, and she waved her hands in the air. "Let's just go! Come on, were close to the boardwalk." I shrugged and followed her. She walked up the steps, and the sun was already setting. We slowly walked together on the boardwalk. Y/N was staring at the sun, and she was being really quiet. We sat down on a bench, and I saw an icecream shop in the distance. I looked down at Y/N, and she was staring at the ground. "I'll be right back, stay here." She nodded, and I walked to the shop. I remembered she liked vanilla, so I got her a cone. I went back outside, and walked back to the bench. "Y/N, I got you something." She looked up, and her eyes lit up. "Legosi! Thank you!" Her voice was kind of in a whisper but I could hear the excitement. "Legosi, follow me." She got up, and was slowly eating her icecream. She walked to the lit up ferris-wheel that was already illuminating in the dim sunlight. She quickly paid the entrance fee and grabbed my hand. Her hand was small in mine. She hopped into a booth and slipped onto a seat. The sun was almost fully set, and a wistful look was in her eyes. We slowly made our way to the top of the ferris wheel, and it slowly stopped. She was shaking, but she looked like she was enjoying the view. "Are you afraid of heights, Y/N?" She nodded, "I'm afraid of mose things, yeah. I try not to acknowledge it, though." I shrugged, and looked at the ocean dancing in the moonlight. I felt a fingers grab my hand, and I looked up. "Legosi, thanks for today." She gave me a closed-eyed smile, and I smiled back.

okay sorry for not updating sooner i forgot. i was trying to update before it was midnight so it would still be today but i forgot and now its 2 am so . anyway i hope you enjoyed this chapter ill start righting a draft, so i can finish tommorow and ill probably do another chapter. btw thanks for all your support it makes me really happy!! byee :) <3
