Part 23: Forgiveness

 Y/N POV

I chatted with Haru as we finished up our work in the gardening club. "Yeah, my dormmates don't like me at all. Once they threw my mattress out the window." I frowned, but then had a brilliant  idea. "Haru, I just had an idea.." She looked over at me, "I don't have any roommates, you can move in with me!" A smile lit up on her face, and I grinned. "That sounds great. I'll ask the dorm-mother before  I go to my dorm." I had a smile on my face while I finished up our work, and I stood up. I wiped my forehead with the back of my hand and exhaled. I looked up, and the sky was a gloomy gray. It smelt like a storm was coming, and I frowned. "Well, Y/N, that was the last of it. Thank you for helping!" I grinned, and gave her a hug. "No problem, thats what friends are for, right?" I let go, and she smiled. "Yeah." I grabbed my bag, and started walking towards the door. "Are you coming?" She shook her head, "No, I have paperwork to do regarding funds." I shrugged, "Okay, see you tommorow Haru!" She waved, and I turned around. I walked into the hallway with a smile on my face, but it instantly faded as I saw the drama-club building through the window. I rubbed my face, tears threatening to fill my eyes.. I exhaled, and started walking out the door. I stopped for a moment, and looked at the floor. I felt water hit my ears, and looked up. Rain started pouring down, and I sighed. I started walking, and the rain just got harder. I saw a figure in the distance, but I couldn't make it out because of the rain. I stopped as it started running towards me. I didn't see who it was until it was too late. "Y/N!" I scowled, "What is it, Legosi? W-Why are you even talking to me?" My voice was breaking, and I couldn't help it, tears were falling down my cheeks. He walked closer, and tried to hug me, but I drew back. "Y/N, please don't cry because of me. I can explain. We didn't do anything!" I cried as he explained what happened. He tried to hug me, and I let him this time. "Please, Y/N. Believe me." I cried into his chest, "I-I do believe you Legosi.." I let go of him, "I'm sorry, I'm so stupid, I can't jump to conclusions like that." I wiped my eyes, and looked up at him. "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let her get that close." He shrugged.

I sniffed as I walked with him towards my dorm. "I'm getting a roommate." He looked down at me, "Who?" I had a thought. "I don't know his name, we haven't met yet." He stopped, "His?" I stifled laughter, "Yes, what's wrong?" He kept walking, but was doing so very.. violently. I was about to say goodbye, but he walked into my dorm building. He started running up the stairs, and I ran up after him. "Legosi! The elevator!" He ignored me, and kept running. He was about to throw my door off it's hinges, but I stopped him. "Legosi! Calm down! I was kidding!" He stopped, and looked down at me. "That isn't funny." I laughed, "Yes it is!" I laughed as I opened the door, and saw Haru looking around with her suitcase in hand. I gasped, "Haru! You came so quickly!" She smiled, and nodded. "I didn't do any paperwork, I went to go ask the dorm-mother. I wanted to surprise you. I looked back at Legosi, and his face contorted into something of surprise, awkwardness, and nervousness. I raised an eyebrow, "Why are you making that face?" He shook his head, "Nothing." He stiffly walked over to us and gave an awkward smile. "Sorry Haru, I don't know what's wrong with him." She shrugged, "It's okay." She motioned towards a large bed next to mine, "Is that mine?" I nodded, "I hope it works for you." She smiled, "Yeah, it's fine. Thank you." She walked over to her bed, and opened her suitcase. I looked up at Legosi, and he was rubbing his neck awkwardly. "I, erm.. I think I should go now.." I shrugged, "Okay, sure. See you tommorow." I gave him a hug, and he quickly ran out the door. Haru turned around, "Is he your boyfriend?" I nodded, "Yeah, but he's acting really weird. He isn't usually like this." I thought for a second, "Nevermind, he's like this around anyone who isn't me or his roommates." She giggled, and I smiled. "Anyway, once your done unpacking want to get dinner?" She turned back around, and started unpacking. "Okay, sounds good. I'll be done soon." I smiled, but turned to look at the door. What was up with him?

Legosi POV

I laid in bed, staring at the close ceiling. Why did Y/N have to become friends with her? I rolled over, facing the curtain that led to the rest of the dorm. The girl I tried to eat was now Y/N's friend, and roommate. How would I do this? I visit her dorm often, but I can't go because she'll eventually recognize me. What if she tells Y/N I tried to eat her? But I tried to eat Y/N, too. And I actually bit her, she was bleeding out. The image of her dazed eyes, and bloodied side flashed in my mind, and I sighed. I would have to endure it. I doubt she would remember anything about me. I opened my curtain slightly, and looked at the alarm clock. It read, '2:53' I exhaled, I couldn't sleep, but I had so much time until school started. I rubbed my face, "Y/N.." First, she gets me obssesed with her, and now all of these things have happened that make me think about her more, I'm always so worried. And, I can't help it. All this thinking makes me want to see her. I rubbed my face, and sighed. Suddenly, a wave of tiredness washed over me. I closed my eyes, and things went black. "Legosi. Hey, Legoisi!" I groaned, and slowly opened my eyes. I saw Jack standing over me. "Legosi! Time to wake up! Its 7:00!" I shot up at his words, "What? Why didn't you wake me up sooner?" He backed up, and raised his hands, "Hey, you looked peaceful, I didn't want to wake you." I scowled, and climbed out of bed. "Fine..."   . . .  (btw that means its a timeskip..) My back as slouched as I walked to the auditorium. I looked next to me, and Y/N was walking with her arms crossed. "Why do we have to have an assembly? We never have them." I shrugged, "It's not that bad. It just means I get to skip math." She grinned, and uncrossed her arms. "Yeah, you're right! Sorry for pouting." I walked into the auditorium, and looked around. The seats were packed with students. Y/N gasped, "Legosi look! The front!" The small bunny girl was waving at us, and 3 front row seats were empty. Y/N skipped down the steps, but someone stepped out, and she tripped on their foot. She yelped, and rolled down the rest of the steps. The auditorium went kind of quiet, and Y/N shakily got up. Her face was red, and her chin was bloody. She turned around, facing the stage, and walked sideways to the seats the bunny was saving for us. The chatter in the auditorium returned as I walked down the steps. I froze as I saw the bunny, but kept walking into the seat next to Y/N. I saw the principal walk onto the stage, and he stopped at the podium. He cleared his throat as he approached the microphone, and started to speak. "Thank you for coming today students, and I am sorry for the short notice." "I have brought you all here today, to announce an upcoming event for all students." I looked over at Y/N, and she was listening intently. "In 3 weeks, you will have the school dance." Commotion rang over the auditorium. "This dance only happens once every 4 years, so consider yourselves lucky." "It will take 3 weeks to prepare, and will be held in the gym." "Thank you, you may all go to your clubs now." Everyone stood up and started leaving. I let the bunny and Y/N walk infront of me. I stared at Y/N's back as she walked. Would she go with me?

GUYS IM SO SORRY OMGMG so i didnt update for a while because of the dumb online school i have to do. i didn't lose interest or anything i just dont have a lot of time. goodthing i stay up till like 4:00am. it 3:00 right now lol. well anyway, i hope you enjoyed this chapter, and I will be sure to update tommorow. thanks for your endless support! we reached 2k reads so quickly! im so greatful! anyway, bye!! <3 :)
