Bruce flies the Commodore out across the city as Val and I stand by the gun, I look her over "You. Are. A. Badass." I say. She winks knowing I'm right. We look out of the ship and see Heimdall lead the refugees out onto the bridge.

But then he stops.

"Why'd they stop?" ask Val, we hear a growl and turn to see a massive wolf is guarding the observatory! The refugees turn to retreat and the wolf charges.      Bruce flies us over and Val starts manning the blaster and firing on the wolf, who stops its charge.

As the refugees retreat, they come to a stop because......another guy is leading an army of the undead behind him! Heimdall and the refugees are now trapped on the bridge between the wolf and the undead army! "Never thought the Walking Dead would be a reality," I admit.

Val tries her best to hold off the army and wolf at gunfire. I look toward the palace, concern for Thor. But my attention soon goes back to trying to figure out a way to save them all. Heimdall leads the refugees out onto the bridge. The Asgardians clash with the undead. Val keeps raining down fire on the wolf, but it is doing no real damage.

Just pissing the wolf off.

"Stupid dog won't die!" I shout.

Just then Bruce gets up and walks to us at the bay doors. "Everything's going to be okay. I got this," he says. I look at him in shock "Bruce..." I start, we share eye contacted. Was he actually going to do this, if he goes Hulk we don't know if Bruce will come back? Guys been one of my best friends and somewhat a teacher, a scientist I can look up to. I don't want to see him gone.

"You want to know who I am?" Bruce asks Val.

"What the hell are you talking about?" she responds.

"You'll see." and with that Bruce leaps out of the ship! His face is determined, arms churning, ready to Hulk out...except it doesn't happen. SPLAT! Bruce faceplants on the bridge, seeming to break every bone in his body. He looks dead.

"What the fuck he do that for?" asked Val. I kneel down holding the side of the bay door "Just wait....come on Bruce."

Suddenly Burce roars and outcomes.....THE INCREDIBLE HULK!!! Hulk is now in a wrestling match with a wolf four times his size the two of them go tumbling into the water below. I look to Val who looks shocked "Yeah surprised me my first time too." I admit.

"You man gun, I'll pilot," says Val.

"I think we're beyond using the gun."

"You're not getting me down there."

"Of course not......I'm going down there and then you're coming down to save my ass."

I hear her sigh and see her smirk. Val pilots the Commodore towards the battle on the city side of the bridge. She lands the ship on the army of the dead letting it skid across the bridge, crushing the front line of zombies.

Val and I stand and walk away from the ship towards the battle. I form shields around my fist and Val draws her sword and smiles as zombies begin swarming towards us. Val had this look of knowing this is where she needs to be. I was happy for her.

I look back to see the Asgardians huddle together, packed so tight that some begin to fall off the side of the bridge, loved ones grabbing them and pulling them back up. There's no hope it seemed to them. Not if I could help.

"You got things here," I state and begin running back. I make a shield between the Asgardians and the zombies and push them back before slipping through to Heimdall myself. Once I'm on the other side I make another shield trying to hold them back.

"Good to see you," says Heimdall. I smile and nod straining to keep the shield up as zombies bash at it "Really? I thought you would see me coming." I state. My stance gets pushes back, but I take a step forward.

"I can't hold this for long-"

"No we will fight," says Heimdall. I look at him shocked, and then I look to the Asgardians ready to fight for there home and lives "You sure?"

He nods. I turn back to my shield, give a big punch spreading the zombies outback and let it fall. The Asgardians race by into the fight. Heimdall and I smile at each other before charging as well. Using the shields around my fist I just punching as many zombies as I could.

But swords at still a problem. It's hard to make multiple shields so I keep getting gashes and cuts all over my body. One zombie pins me to the ground and begins to chop at my face, I try my best to kick it off but it's really heavy.

BAM!

The undead thing is blasted off of me.

"Hey man. I'm Korg. This is Miek. We're going to jump on that spaceship and get out of here.           Want to come?"

I turn to see a creature made of rocks, holding a blaster and a half-alien half-robot thing with knives for hands? Wait. Spaceship?

Just then a loud noise can be heard, as I lay on my I turn to see emerging from the thick low-hanging fog is.....LOKI?!?! Resplendent in horns, arms spread wide, seeming to float towards the bridge like a mythical angel of mercy.

"Your savior is here!"

The fog dissipates around him, revealing that Loki's standing on a supercruiser! And Loki is not alone. He's brought along all the prisoners from the Contest of Champions. Armed with gladiator weapons. The ship slows to a stop in the middle of the bridge.

I sigh laying my head on the bridge taking a break, eyes closed.

Loki and the Sakaarian gladiators jump off the ship and onto the bridge, joining the fight against Hela's forces. "Did you miss me? Everybody on that ship, now," instructs Loki, he was saving everyone.

The Asgardian refugees begin pouring onto the ship. The only way on is a narrow plankway, so there is an immediate bottleneck effect, thousands of frightened people all pushing for a chance at salvation. It's mayhem.

I hear footsteps and also hear some kneel down beside me "Are you going to lay there or..." starts Loki. I open my eyes "Yeah just leave me here to die, I'm okay with that." I say.

"Well, I'm sorry to say you're not going to get what you want."

I smirk and sit up looking at him "I don't understand. What happened to living it up on lawless Sakaar?"

Loki stands and holds out a hand to me "Lawless? Well if that's the case someone would need to keep me in check."

...Is he really trying a pickup line on me "Is this a job offer?"

He chuckles a little looking at his feet "No, it's an apology. I'm so so sorry, for everything, every time I've done you wrong. I regret it all, but the moments I spent praising you, witnessing your strength, resilience, wittiness, kindness, and beauty. I wouldn't give up for all the power in the universe.......Illisha Stark......I-I........I love you."
