Adrien's POV
Marinette and I sat on the terrace together, cuddled up, and alone for the first time in ages.

Since the twins and Louis came, we haven't had much time to ourselves. Not that I'm complaining, though.

However much I enjoyed their company, some quality time with my girlfriend was much missed.

"So, any ideas about Vixen?" I heard Mari ask in my arms.

"Not really," I sighed. "I'm just praying that it doesn't take three years to defeat this villain. I mean, I thought we would get some peace and quiet after my dad, but now this. And there's so much more at stake this time around."

"Yeah," she agreed, "but I don't think we'll have to worry about it."

"What makes you think that?" I inquired, though I was sure her deduction skills were much more fine tuned than my own.

"Well, think about," She began, "her plan to take the miracle box was rash. It was purely by chance that her plan worked, and she's been putting a lot in the open since she got the miraculous'. I mean, the Lila I know and hate would never rush into something unprepared, but for some reason Vixen is quite impatient. It might be her want for revenge talking, but everything she's done has been quite shabby and not well planned out. Your father, on the other hand, took his time and used precision in his plans. Lila is just so... so angry, that she's ignoring all logic and rushing into this. She won't stretch our battles out, and in return, her reign won't last nearly as long."

That was m'lady. Thinking out every possible scenario, and hitting it right on the dot.

I mean, it made sense. Hawkmoth was driven by love and desire and would take all the time in the world if it meant succeeding.

Lila, on the other hand, hated us so much... reason and patience was thrown out the window, and her important maneuvers were quite rash.

It shouldn't be too difficult or time consuming to take her down.

With my head swirling around with these thoughts, I leaned in closer to my girlfriend's embrace.

"So the princess is brave, gorgeous, and smart too. What else are you hiding from me?" I smirked.

"Well," she played along, "I have a durable mentality."

"How so?" I inquired, wondering where she was going with this.

"I mean, I've put up with you and your puns and sarcasm for so long... most people would have lost their sanity by now."

I chuckled in response. "Then we'll add that to the ever growing list, bugaboo."

"I guess we will." She smiled before pulling herself closer to me, closing her eyes.

As she fell asleep beside me, I watched the sun set and the moon rise from the balcony.

I prayed she was right.

I prayed that we could stop Vixen before she shattered our future.

Hi my nonexistent friends! Sorry this is so short! But I did want to throw in a little Adrinette...
