Chapter 33

Everyone froze and slowly turned their heads to me.

"I-Imouto.." Kisame said.

"Sakura.." Daddy said with worried eyes.

"W-What are you doing h-here?" I asked, still recovering from my shock.

"We are here for a mission." Itachi said. "Come, Kisame." He grabbed Kisame and disappeared.

"ANIKI!" I shouted.

"That S-class criminal is your brother?!" Kurenai and Asuma asked in unison. I looked at them and nodded.

"Don't worry, he left her before he became an Akatsuki. She isn't a spy or so." Daddy assured. They nodded.

"Do Sasuke know about this?" I asked.

"No, I don't think so. It's better if he don't or he will lose control." Daddy said.

"Still, should we capture them?" Kurenai sensei asked.

"It wouldn't be wise. They hadn't done anything to harm our village yet. Plus, they are very strong. We are in no condition to fight just yet." Asuma sensei answered.

"Yes. We will have to keep this a secret." Daddy said. "We need to wait for the new Hokage to be announced before we do anything rash." They nodded in agreement and went to do their business.

Daddy bent a little to be at the same height as me and asked,"How are you feeling now?"

I smiled and said,"I'm fine, daddy. You worry too much."

"If only you knew how I reacted after I found you in that condition. Although it doesn't kill you, seeing you like this makes my world crumble." He said with sad eyes and a sad smile.

I smiled brightly and hugged him as he did so too.

~AFTER 1 WEEK~

Naruto and Jiraya came back with 2 women and a pig. One of them have blonde hair and hazel brown eyes while the other have black hair and obsidian eyes. I have learnt that the blonde is Lady Tsunade, one of the Sannins. She became our new Hokage. The other girl is Shizune, Lady Tsunade's apprentice.

After she settled being the Hokage, daddy asked her to heal my injuries. Gai asked for her help for Lee as well. She helped me first as my condition isn't as severe as Lee's. She healed my legs, so I can walk again. The other injuries were left to heal on it's own. However, Lady Tsunade tried her best to help Lee, but his condition is critical. Lee was depressed since then. He began to harm himself by constantly training.

I really pitied him. I wanted to help. I wanted to help so badly. I felt so weak and useless. I heard that Lady Tsunade is one of the strongest kunoichis and the best medical ninja. From then on, I have decided to be her apprentice so I can become stronger and more of a help. I told daddy and he agreed. Learning medical ninjutsu will come in handy for battle.

I walked towards the Hokage tower to find her. I knocked the door twice.

"Come in." She called.

"Hokage-sama. May I be your apprentice?" I asked straight to the point.

She looked at me surprised. "Sakura Momochi. Zabuza's daughter and sister of Kisame. Adopted by Kakashi and officially named as Sakura Hatake. Am I correct?"

"Yes, Hokage-sama." I answered.

She took a file out and looked through the pages. "Perfect chakra control, one of the top in the academy in both academics and skills." She thought for awhile.

She smirked and said,"Very well. I accept. I won't go soft on you, so be prepared."

"Hai! Shishou-sama!" I beamed and bowed. She chuckled.

"Your training will start tomorrow. We will start at 7am in the morning." She said.

"Hai!"

"Dismissed."

"I shall excuse myself then." I bowed and vanished.

I appeared outside the tower and skipped back home. The crowd looked at me weirdly but didn't pay much attention.

From today onwards, I'll train hard and be able to protect everyone! I can even save everyone! YES!! I squealed ignoring the stares I received.
