Saying Goodbye

JoJo spent more and more time with Erina. He didn't spend that much time with me but it was alright. Dio made sure I wasn't alone. He spent a lot of time with me. He took me to the city to some shops, picnics, walks, and he would join me in the library sometimes to read. I was happy JoJo had found a woman he liked, but it hurt that he left me alone. I eventually grew some feelings for Dio, but I still had this off felling about him. I was sitting on the couch in the manor one day when Dio walked inside. He saw me on the couch and he walked towards me. He picked me up and set me in his lap. He had always done these small affectionate gestures. He grabbed a book and started reading.

   " Where were you? "

   " I was meeting with some of my friends and we had a small outing. "

   " How is the weather? "

   " It's nice outside. Would you like to go on a walk? "

   " Su-"

   " Dio! "

JoJo burst through the front doors. A fire was lit in his eyes. Dio closed the book and set me on the couch gently.

   " Hush boy! You won't speak my name in vain again if you know what's good for you. "

   " We end this now! "

JoJo started running at Dio with his fist up ready to punch Dio.

   " I won't let you sully an innocent maiden's honor! Your fight is with me damn it! "

   " Sully a maiden's honor? Dio, what is he talking about? "

   " Upset that Erina shared her favors with me? And now you intend to give me a proper thrashing for my impudence. "

   " This time, Dio, you have gone too far! "

JoJo threw his first punch at Dio, but he dodged it.

   " You may be right but you're the one who'll pay! "

Dio thrust his elbow into JoJo's face and blood went everywhere.

   " JoJo! "

   " Looking to repeat your performance from our boxing match? Be my guest. "

He pushed JoJo away and I stood up from the couch.

   " JoJo are you alright!? "

   " Y/n why are you suddenly asking if he is okay? Don't you remember he is the one who left you for a maiden? Don't you also remember he's the one who left you in the city and you were attacked? "

   " You were attacked? " JoJo asked me.

   " Dio you...you kissed Erina. "

   " Y/n listen to me! He isn't as great as you think. This isn't the right time to say it but I'm sorry! "

Dio threw off his coat and JoJo stood up once again. I ran to JoJo's side.

   " Apology accepted. Are you okay? "

   " I'm doing fine. "

He reached his left hand out and grabbed my shoulder. I felt his thumb press under my shoulder where my birthmark is. He pulled himself up and charged at Dio.

   " Come on! " Dio shouted at him.

Dio blocked JoJo's attack again but kneed him in the face. But he recovered quickly and grabbed Dio's head and shoulder.

   " How are you able to grab me after such a blow to the head? Perhaps, I was too gentle with you! "

JoJo threw his head forward and hit Dio in the head. I felt my shoulder start to burn where my birthmark was. They let go of each other and then JoJo started punching Dio left and right.

   " I'm going to beat you until you cry like a baby, Dio! "

He hit Dio one more time and blood went everywhere. I noticed it went on the wall on a mask that hung there. The mask started to shake a lot until it pushed off of the wall with talins on the back. Dio fell to the floor and I felt myself start to shake. The burn on my back was getting worse. I sat on the floor sitting on my legs.

   " Y-You. How-How dare you? Bastard, how dare you strike me? I'll make you regret that, you filthy cur! " Dio started crying at this point.

   " JoJo watch out he has a knife! " I shouted.

I was on my knees shaking on the floor. The burn was getting worse.

   " Stop it, both of you! That is quite enough! "

We looked up and saw Mr. Joestar at the top of the stairs.

   " Son, I know that boys your age are prone to fisticuffs. However, JoJo, I saw you pummel Dio mercilessly after the point at which he had, obviously, no chance of winning the fight. Such is the mark of a coward. "

   " Father! "

   " No excuses. To your chambers, both of you. I'll decide your punishment anon. "

The masks talons retreated away. I was holding myself as the burn got worse. Dio started walking to his room while JoJo rubbed the blood off of his face with his arm. He looked back at me and saw me shaking. He ran to me and sat in front of me.

   " Y/n are you okay? "

   " JoJo, my birthmark. It stings. "

He looked at my birthmark and I saw his face filled with shock.

   " Y/n, your birthmark has turned a burning red. "

   " I don't know what's going on. "

   " Has anything touched it? "

   " Only you, JoJo, when you got up a few minutes ago. "

   " I didn't have anything on my hands. "

My vision started going black.

   " JoJo..."

Then my vision was consumed by darkness.

( Anyone's P.O.V. )

   " Y/n! "

You collapsed on the ground. JoJo held you in his lap. He was worried out of his mind. He looked at your birthmark and it stopped glowing red. He shook you a little bit.

   " Y/n? Y/n please wake up! "

Then a spark lit at your feet. More sparks were around your feet. The sparks made a circle around your feet and started climbing your body. Your feet disappeared as soon as the sparks started moving up your body. JoJo didn't know what was going on, but when he saw your body start to disappear as the sparks climbed you he was terrified.

   " Y/n! Please wake up! What's going on? "

The sparks were now at your hips. They were swirling and creating a white ring of light.

   " Y/n! "

You didn't move. Then the sparks reached your neck. They climbed and consumed your head and you were gone. There was no trace left of your body. JoJo moved his hands around the space but you weren't invisible.

   " Y/n? "

He felt tears come to his eyes.

   ' I never got to give you an acceptable apology. I'm sorry. I was supposed to be your best friend but now...you're gone. '

He stayed seated wondering what could have happened until his gaze went to the mask.

   ' Maybe this has something to do with her disappearance. It reacted earlier while I was fighting so maybe it has something to do with Y/n. '

He stood up with the mask and started going to his room. Standing on the other end of the staircase a blonde young man was standing there and witnessed what happened to you. He had no clue what had happened to you.

   ' What was that? Those sparks and light climbed her body and she disappeared. Where did my dear go? Where did she go!? '

Dio was confused and didn't understand where you went. They wouldn't know until 7 years had passed.
