Old Friends to Baron

We had left the training chamber behind and went towards Poco's town. Poco had told us about the strange things that were happening in the town and we knew it was Dio. Speedwagon had taken Baron Zeppeli's hat and wore it instead of his blade hat. I was upset that we had lost the Baron, he was a very dear friend to all of us. We continued to walk closer and closer to the town. It was silent as none of us wanted to talk and continued to grieve in our own minds.

   ' I'm going to miss him. '

   " Oi, Jonathan Dio was swanning about, saying he'd wipe out the town by tomorrow night. Zombies will multiply, like rats breeding in a refuse heap. "

JoJo nodded at Speedwagon while we stopped walking. We gazed at the peaceful town wondering what secrets hid beneath the film of silence.

   " There's no telling what's been going on down there. " I said.

   " My sister, is she alright? " Poco asked.

   " Let's see. " JoJo said with a firm look.

We continued to walk closer and closer to the town until we saw a man walking up the road towards us.

   " Mr. Adams! "

Poco had left our side and started running to the man.

   " He must be a family friend of Poco's. "

   " Yes, but it's weird. " JoJo said.

   " What do you two mean? " Speedwagon asked.

   " Well, think about for a moment Speedwagon. The town is in silence and Dio is somewhere in there creating an army. How is a man able to walk out of the town quietly and calmly like that? "

   " You have a point. "

   " Let's just be cautious around him. We need to keep Poco safe and find his sister. " JoJo said as he started walking towards the pair.

Speedwagon and I followed him and I took notice that the man had a bag around his shoulder.

   " Poco, what are you doing at this hour of the night wandering the moors? "

   " Please, tell me, is everyone all right? And-And my sister, is she safe? "

   " You dare to ask? You mean to say, you really don't know? She's bloody furious! When you get home, she's gonna lock you in the barn and tan you hide! "

   " I guess that means she's safe. " JoJo said looking at us.

   " Then, let's go. "

We walked around the man and continued down the trail.

   " Well, thank you, Mr. Adams. "

We continued to walk away but I couldn't help but feel an odd aura emitting from behind us. I continued to walk beside Poco when a shout was heard. I turned around and saw a tongue flying at us. My first instinct was to pull Poco behind me. I shielded Poco as JoJo grabbed the tongue, coming from the man we just left.  The man had shed his shirt and his eyes had turned green.

   " He's been turned. Keep your wits about you. "

   " I knew it! " I shouted at the air.

The man had jumped and turned to prepare to attack us.

   " You can't escape me with your human speed! "

He dove towards us but JoJo pinned him down by pulling his long tongue to the ground and stepped on it. Then he sent Hamon through his foot to kill the zombie.
