The End of Santviento

I walked to Joseph and saw how concerned he was.

   " He's immune to Hamon. "

   " JoJo, that's wrong. I was able to deflect and harm him with my Hamon. Your Hamon was only protecting you. It kept your body from being completely absorbed into him. THat's why it was repelling off of him. Because your Hamon was focused on keeping you safe. "

   " Regardless, I need to think of something fast here. Maybe it's time to make my emergency escape. "

   " You can't do that! No one leaves until he's dead! " Von Stroheim shouted. 

   " Shut up! You released this monster, and now you're saying you need someone else to clean up the mess? "

   " JoJo this isn't the time for bickering. " I warned.

   " I don't need anything else on my plate, Von Stroheim. "

I heard the thunder of footsteps and looked to see Sanviento charging at us. JoJo jumped and grabbed a knife with his foot, aiming at Sanviento.

   " Let's see if I can inject some Hamon into his system with something sharp. "

The knife did nothing. His skin was malleable and wasn't damaged at all. He tried to back kick Sanviento but he only condensed his head. JoJo's foot flew over. Sanviento then kicked JoJo in the stomach. Blood came out of his mouth as he flew in the air. 

   " It completely knocked the air out of him. " Stroheim said.

   ' His Hamon won't be able to work properly. '

   " He seems to create his own energy. He controls it with his breathing. But lying there now unconscious, he is as vulnerable as any other human. "

He grabbed JoJo and was about to absorb him until I grabbed his hands that were on JoJo's face.

   " He's not quite vulnerable. "

I disconnected the two but Santviento and I still held arms. JoJo laid behind me still unconscious. 

   " You have the same method. You have a breathing technique you use. "

   " You are correct. "

   " But you are more skilled than the male. How is that? "

   " I've had training. He hasn't. If you want him you'll have to get through me to get him. He doesn't go down until I do. JoJo! You better start breathing properly dammit! "

   " You could be useful. "

   " What? "

   " You are the first female I have seen since my awakening. Yet you are stronger than those of my time. "

   " And? "

   " You would be perfect for reproduction. We could reproduce strong healthy little ones. "

   " What!? I'm sorry but that won't be happening. Hamon Overdrive! "

My Hamon flowed all across my arms and into Sanviento. JoJo stood up and jumped at the pillerman in front of me. His kick was powerful with his Hamon that Sanviento split in half. I let go of his arms and watched his lower half disconnect from his top half.

   " I agree! That won't be happening as long as I am here! "

JoJo landed on the floor and I sat beside him. 

   " His body is one whole digestive system. Each cell in his body, they're all filled with aggressive digestive enzymes, making it possible to dissolve his prey. "
