Caesar reached his hand back and ruffled JoJo's hair. JoJo groaned and moved his head away. I only laughed at his messy hair.
" Mr. Speedwagon, " The German asked.
" Huh? "
" We have so many questions for you. I hope that we can all work together to stop the PIllar Men before they awake. "
JoJo started to fix his hair and he turned to me. I could tell he was silently asking me if his hair was okay. I reached my hand up and started moving pieces of his hair around until it looked like what it did before it was messed with. I nodded and looked forward again.
" How is the beauty? " Caesar asked the German.
I watched as he reached over and opened up a locket showing a picture of a beautiful woman.
" Huh? "
" Now don't be embarrassed. You have a girlfriend back home. "
" Well. She's--Actually, the truth is I'll be going home next week so we can finally get married. "
" Really? Mamma Mia! Congratulations, Mark. "
Caesar pulled the driver to him and they were very chummy with each other. The car started swerving around the street and hitting trashcans. We were all being thrown around in the back seat. JoJo wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pressed me to his side while I held Speedwagon's hand.
" I was his wingman when he picked her up, you know. He was so nervous. "
" Heartwarming. Please don't get us all killed here. And please stop cuddling with the wheel, if you don't mind. " JoJo screamed at them.
When the car was driving straight again disconnected my hand from Speedwagon and settled back into my seat. JoJo's arm never left my shoulders.
" I wanted to ask you, JoJo, do you have a girlfriend back home? "
All JoJo did was grunt when Caesar looked to the back seat.
" I'll take that as a no. But you're such a great catch. Why doesn't anyone want to date you? Perhaps, they're all too busy washing their hair, eh? "
Caesar started laughing at JoJo. JoJo could only produce a glare towards the Italian.
" Actually, Y/n is my girlfriend you pasta noodle! "
" JoJo! " I screamed.
" I doubt it! I know you're lying Joestar. Why would this beautiful flower date an oaf like yourself? "
I felt my hand being grabbed and I was pulled to the front by the Italian. He kissed my cheek and let go of my hand.
" She deserves to be with someone like me. "
I leaned back and faced away from the Italian. I looked toward JoJo and he was glaring daggers at the Italian. JoJo kept his arm tightly around me as the drive continued. We finally made it to the "Mouth of Truth" and the soldier pulled the stone. A huge passageway showed past the stone wall. We walked through and started descending the steps further down. I stayed by JoJo's side as we continued to walk down. When we reached the room they were supposed to be at there were no soldiers and it was dark.
" I'm surprised you Germans don't have more than, uh, zero guards down here. It's a little quiet. Hello?"
" Stop being foolish, JoJo. " Caesar said to the Englishman.
" Wait. Something's wrong. "
" What do you mean? " I asked.
" He's right. There should be guards posted all around this place. "
" Huh? Why didn't anyone tell me there were bats in here? Gross. I stepped in bat dung! And I just cleaned these. "
The German waved his flashlight over towards JoJo and me and on the floor was the husk of dead soldiers. They were all connected by their hands being fused together. Their husks were laid on the ground lifeless and thin. They looked like they were filled with air and nothing else.
" What--what the hell happened to them? They're all dead! "
The German soldier was scared and started running away from the husks and from us.
" Stop where you are! whoever did this could still be here! " I shouted to the running soldier.
" WHat--what is that? " The soldier screamed again.
Three men stood above him. They were all very toned and had different styles. They were buff and barely wore clothes.

" I can't believe it. They're-- they're alive! " Speedwagon shouted.
" Runaway, Mark! "Caesar screamed.
The Pillar Men only walked by him. They touched half of his body and when they separated half of Mark was gone. Mark collapsed to the ground and we surrounded him as the Pillar Men continued to walk away from us.
" What have they done? " Caesar asked.
" They just walked right through your friend like he wasn't even there. The Pillar Men have awoken with such massive power that we barely even exist to them. We may as well be nothing more than a colony of ants beneath their feet. "
One of the Pillar Men bowed to the other two and I observed their actions. I listened to their conversation and just watched them. They were trouble and I knew that we had to be cautious of them. My ears perked up when I saw them carrying a stone mask. This was different from the one Dio possessed. This one had a hole in the frontal lobe. As they talked I listened to them mention a stone they needed. I had a feeling that if they got the stone and inserted it into the mask they would become even more powerful. The Pillar Man that was kneeling on the ground suddenly kicked what looked to be their leader.
" It's-- it's getting so cold. Please, Caesar. I'm--I'm so scared. I couldn't feel anything at first, but now, the pain. Please, Caesar, you've got to kill me now. "
" Mark. "
' There's nothing we can do. '
I turned my head away. I didn't want to look at the scene in front of me. I couldn't. I knew what had to happen and I could feel the Hamon work Caesar was doing on Mark. When it was done and over with Caesar stood up and looked at the Pillar Men. JoJo stood alongside him.
" Don't you dare get in my way, JoJo. I'm going to enjoy every second of this! This is personal. I'll destroy these fiends myself! "
I stood behind them to fight with them. When my eyes met the forms of the Pillar Men I had the same thought I had with Dio.
' Why is it that the villain is always hot? Like, that's not fair for them to have abs and be hot. Come on! '
