I Can't

JoJo just left for London. I watched as he left in the carriage.

   ' Please be careful JoJo. '

I walked away from the window and traveled around the mansion. I checked on Mr. Joestar and he seemed to be as fine as he could be.

   ' I'm gonna read up on JoJo's research. It should be in his study. '

I walked to his study to see that the door was open and his lamp was on. I stayed against the wall to listen to who was in there.

   " Your death will be the perfect crime. "

   " Dio, what are you doing in here? " I said stepping out from the hallway.

He hid something behind him and I couldn't tell what it was.

   " Y/n, how are you this lovely night? "

   " I'm fine. Please answer my question. "

   " I thought I had left something in here, so I came to retrieve it. "

   " Did you find it? "

   " I did. Come, let us go and enjoy the snow. "

   " I'm fine, but thank you. "

   " Aren't you supposed to be watching me? "

   " Yes? "

   " So, if I were to go outside you would be going out there with me because you have to watch me. "

   " Well, I could just watch you from the window. "

   " Oh, but that wouldn't work. If I were to do something bad you would have to run through the house to get to me. So, you might as well follow me. "

I sighed and started following him outside. When we reached the doors he threw them open and walked out into the snowy weather. I walked out and followed him. We walked to the back of the Joestar manor and towards the tree and bench in the back. He took a seat on the bench and waved me over.

   " You don't have to stand. Please, come to have a seat. "

   " Alright. "

I walked to the bench and was about to take a seat beside Dio when he pulled my hips toward him. He set my butt on his lap and wrapped his arms around me.

   " You shouldn't sit on the snow, it'll ruin your dress. It's warmer on my lap. "

   " How considerate. "

   " Remember how we came here seven years ago? "

   " I remember it very well. "

   " Remember when I said I would also like to court you? "

   " Yes, what about it? "

   " I still want to court you Y/n. "

   " W-What? " I said with my face turning red.

   " I still want to court you. When you disappeared it broke my heart but when you came back after all these years I was so happy to see you again. I missed you so much. " He said nuzzling into my neck.

I shivered and stood up from his lap and started walking to the Joestar manor. 

   " Dio, you really haven't changed after seven years. That's the deal-breaker, is that you haven't changed and you're still trying to kill JoJo. That isn't right. I'm sorry but we can't court together. "

I started walking away from Dio and back inside to the Joestar manor leaving Dio behind in the cold.
