What's Wrong With Milkshakes?

I'm not going to lie, that show was pretty amazing. And Perri, he was just the best part. Brooke obviously had a good time, she's still ecstatic that she met and hugged Perri. I, on the other hand, am still in shock from talking to Perri properly. He seemed so much more confident tonight than he did when he was alone in the coffee shop. What if he doesn't turn up to the coffee shop tomorrow? I'm too nervous for this.

April 13th
Shit! I might be seeing Perri today - if he keeps his word and turns up. he doesn't even know when I start today. He probably won't turn up. He's probably just leading me on like most guys and then going to let me down when I catch feelings. I take a slow walk to work, thinking everything over, school work, Perri, work, Perri, Perri, Perri. I can't get that guy out of my head. I put my hands on my head as if to shake all the thoughts about him out. That didn't work. I'm still thinking about him.
"Lexi, are you okay? You seem really preoccupied and you keep looking at the door as if you're waiting for someone... You're not waiting for Milkshake Boy, are you?" Sue looks at me.
"What would your reaction be if i said I was waiting for him?" I don't look at her, I don't want to see her reaction.
"Lexi, listen. Don't get your hopes up, he's a guy. He's a good looking guy, who probably has a load of girls clinging onto him. He'll make you feel special for a while and then dump you and act like he doesn't know who you are." I know Sue's trying to help but that's really not making me feel any better.
"Do you even know who he is or what he does?" I ask sue.
"He's a guy. That's all I know" Sue replies, looking at me in a concerned manner.
"He's a dancer from the dance group Diver-" i get cut off by the door opening and Perri walks in, looking at me straight away.

"Wow" I say, looking at him. I go bright red again.
