What's Wrong With Milkshakes?

Part 20

"Your parents?" Perri questions me.
"The only way I'll be able to come with you is if you meet my parents beforehand" I tell him.
"Fine. I can do that. I don't have much time though" Perri says, "also, I've got you a ticket for our show tonight". I smile and hug him, forgetting the rule I made all of 10 minutes ago to not get too attached to him. he hugs me back, and I pull away for a moment, to kiss him. So much for not getting attached, I think.
"Lexi," Perri says,"I've got to go, I'm already late for rehearsals"
"Fine" I smile.
"Wait here, yeah?" He says to me
"Yes" I reply, and kiss him quickly before he leaves.

After about an hour and a half, theres a knock on the door. I open it, expecting it to only be Pel, but Ashley's here as well.
"Hey again" Ash says, smiling, "Perri spoke to me... about you accompanying us on tour"
"Yes...?" I say.
"Its fine with us, if you're allowed to come!" Ashley says
"Me and Pel have to meet my parents today, and if that goes well then I'll be able to come!!" I say, hugging Perri. Hes made me so happy the past couple of days.
"And its front row seats for the show tonight" Perri adds.
"Aww" I dont want to let go of him. Ever.

I send a quick text to my mum, letting her know that I'm coming over, with a guy. I dont think shes particularly pleased with the fact that I'm coming over with a guy, but shes going to have to get used to it, if me and Perri are going to last.

We stand outside my parents house, admiring the eeriness. I feel Perri tense up beside me, I take his hand and squeeze it to reassure him.
"Well?" i ask, "Are we going to go in?"

I ring the doorbell.
