What's Wrong With Milkshakes?

Part 3

"uhm, yeah we ca-" i get cut off from answering by 3 young girls screaming and running towards the till and the guy.
"PERRI KIELY! WE LOVE YOU" they're screaming to the poor guy opposite me. he puts on a big smile and turns round to look at the girls running into his arms.
'wait... Perri Kiely...?' i think. 'i recognise the name... OMG... no, it cant be... now I recognise him...should I text brooke?...no...no she doesnt need to know about this'. About a hundred thoughts were running through my head at once.

Eventually the girls left him alone.
"Can we get back to my order?"he asks me.
"Y-Yeah, a milkshake, right?" i stutter, the nerves completely taking control of my body. I feel my face flush red and turn away from him so he doesnt see my embarrassed face.
"Yes, a chocolate one, please?" he says. 'how the fuck does he manage to stay so cool?' I think.
"Ah, a lot of practice. After all, my whole life has been in the spotlight, what with winning britains got talent at such a young age" he replies, giving me a small, almost shy, smile.
"Shit! I said that out loud, didnt i? Well done Lex, you've really embarrassed yourself now" i mutter. I turn around and tell my boss to make the chocolate milkshake.
"Just trying to buy some time with the cute guy, huh?" my boss asks me, causing me to go bright red again.
"N-No... I..." i stop speaking and look at Perri, who makes direct eye contact with me and looks away in an instant.
"Are you going to give me my milkshake or are you just going to keep hold of it?" he asks me, and i realise that I've been holding onto his milkshake for the whole time we were holding eye contact.
"Oh shit sorry" I hand him his milkshake.
"Great, thankyou! I'll be around for a couple days so I'll probably see you around, uhh..." ,he looks at my name badge,"Lexi?".
"Yeah, yeah hopefully!" I say.
"Bye Lexi!!" he says and looks into my eyes.

Wow, I could get lost in his beautiful dark brown eyes.
