I pull away slowly, looking at Perri. I notice a hint of a smile on his face.
"Be my girlfriend?" He asks me again.
"Pel," I say with uncertainty.
"Yes?" his face drops a little. He thinks im going to say no…Maybe I am? I'm not sure. It's all a bit fast. But I like him, a lot. Would it really be so bad if I said yes? I look at him, his eyes seem to be looking into my soul, working out what I'm going to say. I lean up and kiss him, with more passion than usual.
"Yes." I tell him. I am The Perri Kiely's girlfriend. Even I cant believe I said yes. I kiss him again, he pulls away smiling. He looks so happy.
"Pel, you've got rehearsal in 20 minutes and we still dont know how to get to the Palladium" I laugh, leaning into him. He pulls his phone out of his pocket, clicking on Google Maps. The quickest route to the Palladium takes 25 minutes to walk and 14 to drive, but it will take 10 or more minutes to get a taxi, so we might as well walk there. The show's in a few hours as well, so he needs all the rehearsal time he can get.

As we walk up to the door of the Palladium, Pel takes my hand.
"We're going to have to tell them about us" he tells me.
"I know, I think I'm ready for it" I reply, reassuring him. He kisses my cheek and we walk inside, finding the door to the studio quickly.
"Here goes everything" he says, opening the door. There arent many people here, and we're 15 minutes late. It looks like they've already been rehearsing though, empty water bottles are everywhere and most people are crashed out on the floor, probably waiting for Ashley's next instruction.
"Ah Pel, finally decided to turn up?" Ashley says, with annoyance. Perri turns bright red and starts apologising profusely to Ashley and the rest of the guys there.
"Just let us know the next time you're going to be late" Ashley demands. Perri squeezes my hand, relaxing me a little bit. I dont like being caught up in the middle of an 'argument' especially because I know I'm part of the reason Perri was late to rehearsals.

"Ash, we've got something to tell you." Perri says slowly.
